This is not one of those 1000 page review books that is going to cram and organize all the information you were supposed to learn in nursing school. It is a guide book. It is a very fast read and outlines several studying and test taking strategies focusing on nursing content, most of which I found extremely helpful. I read this book several times when studying for my NCLEX, it helped me keep perspective and calmed me down from time to time. There is also a good chapter on Maslow (you all love and remember him, right?) and hints about his theories to keep in mind when answering questions. Lastly, the practice test on the CD ROM was the best practice test I took. It had the most questions which were similar to the actual NCLEX; and I have several of the huge review books, took a review course, and bought one questions CD. This shouldn't be your only review book, but for me it was a necessary addition. (I found out the other day I passed my NCLEX on my first try after completing only 75 questions)

After failing my boards the first time, I bought this book, and it helped a great deal. The tips that it teaches you really work. I am glad that I purchased this book. The practice test were very helpful also. Good luck and happy studying with this book!!

Emailed this seller and never received an answer. I never saw in the sales add that it didn't come with the CD. I got the product and in the package it said it didn't come with the CD, and there wasn't one. This product is half useless without the CD. I emailed the seller the same day and never heard back, this has been weeks ago.
