Handy pocketbook. Drugs are broken down by category and has all the necessary infor needed for each drug. This book helps me to organize my thoughts.

when i first ordered the book, i thought it would come in handy for the kaplan program and if it were to be beneficial in my last nursing semester, BONUS! i am not sure if it's included or not when one takes the nclex review with kaplan, however i saw it in the kaplan bookstore @ their site. what a great little book. it's in a flashcard type of format. drug on the front, with the "meat" on the back. it's small enough to put into a purse, maybe even a pocket. it's a great size. i bought 4 of them for my study buddies, and then ordered 3 more & used them for christmas gifts. they were $5 cheaper on amazon and who can resist the supersaver shipping?

This little pocket book will fit in your purse, so that when you find yourself "stuck" somewhere for a few minutes, you can whip it out and peruse some med test info. I know, not exciting for me either, but that's why I bought it--med questions strike terror in my heart. I hate wasting time, so I'm hoping to fill those inevitable moments cramming for the NCLEX. It's small, easy to see, and full of potential test info. Ask me again in 5 months and I'll let you know how it worked. Good luck to us all!

This book is not worth the paper it is written on. There is no index and and it is very vague.

I liked the format of this book because it is brief, concise and easy to read and memorize medications which are most likely to be in the NCLEX.

It was shipped fast, arrived on time, and in perfect condition. For anyone that needs to study for the NCLEX-RN Exams, I recommend getting the Kaplan series of books. They provide a very thorough knowledge about the different medications that could be on the test as well as the Kaplan NCLEX-RN 2010 book give great techniques to be able to pick out the correct answers.

This book helps you concentrate specifically on information you need to know for the test. Easy to pick up and review even if you only have a few minutes.

There is a table of contents but it only lists drug categories. The book has no index so you cannot look up a specific drug without flipping through the book. The book doesn't list the drug's action. Also, many of the drugs in NCLEX practice tests have drugs that are not in this book. I would return it if it was more than $11.

I agree with whoever said the info is not complete, but it is not a drug guide, it is a review book. Has all the drug info you need for the NCLEX, but I won't be using it after the exam (that's what the Davis Drug Guide is for). Simple format and easy to use for studying.
