About the Author

Fran Katzanek was Director of Career Services at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, for 15 years. At Roger Williams, she and her staff assisted thousands of students in the evaluation of their personal and career goals, conducting innovative workshops, teaching seminars, and delivering presentations to organizations and schools. This book is based upon her popular and successful "Reality 101" seminar for graduating seniors.

Katzanek's other career as a parent has allowed her to live on both sides of the proverbial fence: One son returned home right after college and stayed for several years. Another son "stopped out" twice before returning to college and graduating with honors. Her daughter returned home eight years after graduating to search for a new, more exciting career path. The search took almost three years, but she found it!

This review is from: Kaplan Reality 101, Second Edition (Paperback)
This book offers college students much needed information on life after getting a degree. I only wish I had heard about it while I was still in college.
