The zafu is a round traditional meditation cushion with pleated sides. The cover is made of cotton twill fabric. We hand stuff our zafus with natural kapok so that they will not collapse after a few sittings. All our zafus are double-stitched for extra strength and come with a carrying handle. Each zafu is approximately 14" in diameter and 8" in height and weight just over 3.5 lbs (it is one of the heaviest on the market.) The zabuton is filled with natural kapok. The kapok is packed to provide solid support, and yet is soft and comfort. The outer cover is made of cotton twill fabric and has a zipper along one length so that it can be easily removed and washed. Inside the cover, the kapok is enclosed in a casing. Each zabuton is 30" long by 28" wide and may fits people up to 5' 10" tall. The square support cushion is designed to tip your zafu a bit forward or to be placed under a knee or ankle. The outer cover is made of cotton twill fabric. Each support cushion is 14" long by 14" wide and is stuffed with natural kapok.

They are authentic meditation cushions of the highest quality, exactly like the ones I use at the Zen Center! Highly recommend. I'm now meditation every day because it is so comfortable with these cushions.

I just received the item. I did a lot of research on these items throughout the internet as I am new to them and knew nothing about them. The items that the zafustore has for sale where the cheapest for a three piece set that has a removable cover for the zabuton. Sometimes just buying what is the cheapest backfires, but this time I think it has worked out.... I think that I will be very pleased with the items as they seem to be very high quality!

I looked at other companies for a simular product. This one offered good price and quality. Plus the added cushion.
