A Must have for Kara-Tur Adventures, January 8, 2002
This review is from: Kara-Tur: Trail Map/Tm5 (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms) (Paperback)
This map is great! It is Huge, maybe 5ft high by 3 ft or so, and is complimentary to the Western Realms map. It is the only place I have ever seen such detail and composite knowledge of Eastern Geography! It spawned my love of maps in the 6th grade, and has been my favorite product ever since.

Map Quest - Kara Tur Style, May 23, 2011
This review is from: Kara-Tur: Trail Map/Tm5 (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms) (Paperback)
Kara-Tur Trail Map (from the back cover)
The mysterious and exotic lands of Kara-Tur cover nearly a quarter of the globe, stretching from the steaming southern jungles to the hidden valleys of the Issacortae in the north, from the plains of the horse barbarians in the west to the war-torn isles of the shogun in the east. And at the center of it all lies Shou Lung, the empire of the dragon.
The Kara-Tur trail map complies information from all past (Kara-Tur) products into one comprehensive and authoritative map of the Eastern realms. All geographical and political features of note are included on a 36" by 57" sheet suitable for use in gaming as as a wall poster.
My take on the product...
This is a HUGE map of the lands of Kara-Tur. In addition to showing all of the lands on the eastern end of the continent, there are several insets that display the Shou alphabet, a flow chart for the Shou Lung government, a listing of several of the major secret societies, martial arts schools, major temples and close ups of three different cities (Tu Pe, Cham Fau and the Forbidden City of the Emperor) plus the Island of Bawa.

Dungeons Review, October 19, 2001
This review is from: Kara-Tur: Trail Map/Tm5 (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms) (Paperback)
This is set best for oriental game settings and will have little situation on other realms in the Forgotten realms setting. With limited information in the basic pack of how adventurers would gain access and limited maps of Kara'Tur it is significantly hard to cordinate adventures and make new ones.
