I absolutely love this album! I got it three days ago and I can't stop listening to it! All of the songs are very upbeat and easy to like. The best thing about it is that even though it's upbeat you are still glorifying God! I highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes upbeat Christian music!

Subject-How God is calling you back to Him after you have gone astray, and how He (Jesus) loves you no mater what you have done. It is a great message.

Ok, i always love finding the unknown gems of the Christian music scene in cd stores, I found this one in North Carolina. This album is awesome. the production here is just as good as anything secular, probably better. The soundscapes are nice and lush, detailed but not distracting. Her voice is great and her fills and runs are unique. Check out the major 7th harmonies on the second track. I disagree with the reviewers who say "Here I Am" is the weakest track, it's masterfully done, and I think it's much stronger than "Wash Over Me" tho that song's good too. I mixed this CD with Charmaine's debut album, and I use it to minister to pop fans. So far God has really been using it, one guy actually became a christian and this album greatly influenced him. I am happy to find a POP album that is also mature, quality, heart-felt worship. I hope she can make a career out of it, and this record label (vertical records) is great. I give it 4 stars out of 5 because the last song, while heartfelt, really doesn't work for me. But it's been a while since I listened to that specific track, all the others I have in mixes, but that's back in the states, so I could very well be wrong. Anyway, buy it, and have your friends listen to it. She's definitely one of the brightest stars in the Christian Pop scene. Ok, that's the whole ball of fish! Check ya on the flipside!

I used to always listen to secular music. But, being a Christian, I decided to listen to some Christian music. I am glad I started with Kara. Her music is better than even most secular music! If you are Christian and have never listened to good Christian music, I highly recommend this. Even if you have listened to good Christian music, I recommend it because it is probably better than anything you've ever heard.

I bought her CD and I was surprised to see such fast beats.
Some people say the beats sound like Britney Spears and Zoe
Girl. Although Kara has fast beats you can still glorify God
with them. Kara's CD has 10 songs.

Kara's slow songs have very nice beats though. Not too many people I see get bored of the music.

The bad thing is Kara doesn't get that much fans. Fans are one of the things that help artist keep on singing. I've only seen 2 kara fans sites. I made a kara fansite that supports amazon called karafans.tk

1. Heart of a Child- 5/5 This is my absolute favorite song. It has an upbeat pop sound and expresses a great message.

2. Glorify You- 4/5 This is her most popular song where I live, It expresses that she just wants to live her life to glorify God.

3. Hungry- 3/5 This song is not one of my favorites, but it's about how she comes to the Lord hungry for his love.

4. We All Bow Down 4/5 I really like this song, I didn't really at first but now, it's become one of my favorites. It talks about how one day we all will bow down to God.

5. Beautiful Moment- 5/5 This is my 2nd favorite song on the CD. It relates to Glorify You in alot of ways, like when she says "I wanna give my life right back to you, so you are glorified in all I do"

6. Falling on me now- 5/5 This song has a Chinese sound to it, but it's really cool, i don't think I've ever heard a song quite like it.

7. Wash Over Me- 3/5 This song is slower. It is about being washed in the cleansing waters of Jesus.

8. Sunshine 5/5- I love this song. It's about God making you happy when you are feeling sad, it has a real upbeat sound to it also.

9. Here I Am 2/5- I don't really like this song. It lasts like, 5 minutes and it just repeates over and over and over and over....

10. I Love You- 4/5 This song is about how God is calling you back to him after you have gone astray. It has one of the best messages on the album.

This is a really good album. I didn't like it that much at first, but I think it's really nice now.

Heart of a child- ***** I LOVE this song. It's very energetic and exciting. Her message is to love and trust Jesus with the heart of a child. She says "Every single day, with every step I take, Lord I'm comepletely yours, I love with the heart of a child."

2. Glorify You- **** This song is pretty good. It's a little slower. Her message is to glorify God.

3. Hungry-**** This is a pretty good song. In it she sings "Hungry, I run to you, for I know you satisfy. Broken I run to you, for I know your love does not run dry"

4. We All Bow Down--***** This is such a good song, but a lot slower. Her message is that we will all bow down, singing "And we'll all bow down, kings will surrender their crowns and worship Jesus, He is the Lamb of God."

5. Beautiful Moment-***** This is a great song. It's a lot like Glorify You. She sings "I think about the life you gave for me, so I could be with you eternity, I think about the cross that rescued me, in a beautiful moment"

6. Falling on me now- *** This song sounds Chinese and I don't like it much. It's very unique, and other people like it.

7. Wash Over Me- *** I perfer faster songs, and this is a very gentle song, but if you like soft songs, you'll love this one.

8. Sunshine-***** She sings "You are my sunshine, you are my rainbow...you fill my heart with sunshine!" I love this song. It's very upbeat. This is so sweet.

9. Here I Am **- I don't like this song too much. It's just repeating "Here I am Lord, Here I am Lord, Set me Free" etc.

10. I Love You- ***** She sings as if God is the one speaking to someone gone astray-"I love you, I love you, it doesn't matter what you've done... I love you, I love you, return to me my weary one." It's a great message and sweet, sweet song. I love it!

Over all, I think that this CD is worth buying if you like pop that is often slow but always interesting.

I was looking through the CD section of a dollar store in Florida. There was Kara. When I listened to the CD I could not believe it. What a voice. In the lower ranges she sounds a little like Karen Carpenter. Her music sounded so mature for a young lady. I think she has the best voice in Christian music. My favorite song is "I love you" in which she represents the voice of God as a God who patiently waits for us with open arms and forgiveness, to return to Him. Why is she not well known and famous. She has more talent than almost anyone out there in Christian music. Go figure.
