The PS2 CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country Bundle
comes with a great Microphone so you don't have to buy one unless you're interested in singing duets (to take advantage of that, you will need to buy an additional microphone). This game also utilizes the eye toy, if you have one (I also bought the Eye Toy 2 Game bundle that comes with the new Eye toy). When you use the eye toy, you can actually see yourself sing the songs or choose a character and use the eyetoy to put you in the background of the game (It's really neat)!!
The game tells you that there are 35 songs, what it doesn't explain is that you have to unlock some of those songs (Celebrity and Friends in low places are 2 that I have unlocked in just one sitting). You unlock outfits, games, characters by singing well and earning gold, platinum and diamond records. You can set the judging for easy, normal and difficult. It also has training so you can get used to it. We just jumped right on and headed for the "arcade" competition. You can choose your character and make them look like however you want, even change their outfits. You can choose the songs you want to sing, or choose random so that it chooses for you, and you can choose the arena you sing in (again, with the eyetoy, you can put yourself and/or your living room into the scene)!
I just received the game yesterday and my daughter and I couldn't stop playing, it's addictive!
If you don't want to compete and you just feel like singing, you can choose the "karaoke" option and just sing without being judged. There are also mini-games on there, but we didn't get to that yet. There is a lot you can do, I was so impressed and the song list was all the hot country music out right now. The other great thing about this is you can choose to sing along with the original artist of the song, or you can lower their voice and/or music to just sing the words by yourself. We enjoyed singing along, like you would in your car or watching their video, it makes it a little easier in my opinion.
The game is very enjoyable, even when you've already sang a song, you want to sing it again to try to improve, love hearing that crowd cheer! But if you sing badly, you will get booed off and get zero points (my daughter didn't like that!)

If you like singing, especially to tunes of artist's such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, JoDee Messina, Martina McBride, Kenny Rogers, Gretchen Wilson, Toby Keith and even Patsy Cline, Buy this Bundle!!

My entire family - including my 3yr old and my own parents - love playing this game together. It is a lot of fun, and promotes self confidence, as my sons, ages 8 and 11, were initially embarrassed to sing in front of people, but now we compete and have a blast. I highly recommend this game. It is so much better than traditional video games. I also recommend the other Karaoke Revolution games.

If you are one of those people that turn up the radio in the car and sing to the music, this game is for you! We had a blast with this, not just the kids, but the adults also got way into scoring against each other! I thought the variety of songs was excellent, there was something for all voice ranges and with the selection of skill levels, one player could be a medium and the other an easy so that everyone does well (this was great for the kids who don't like to lose!!) If you like to sing, even if your're not that great, you will love this, especially if you have family and friends to play with!
