4.0 out of 5 stars Karate "Self" Defense and Attack, August 16, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Karate Defense and Attack (Paperback)
Karate Defense and Attack is about the forms of self defense outside the classroom and not about sparing techniques. The subject is presented in a sequences of photos and illustrations stepping through various ways of responding to a range of situations. The book is primarily for persons with sufficient mastery of basic karate techniques, some experience in sparing, and are interested in self defense applications.

K. Enoeda is a proficient, well known karate teacher schooled in the style known as Shotokan. He has written another book on karate which while similar in format, is addressed toward practitioners of the art interested in sparring.
