Karcher 2.640-746.0 Pressure Washer 4-Piece Extension Spray Wand

I bought this Karcher wand to clean the highest part of my pool cage in Florida and while water does come out the end, there is not enough pressure to clean anything. I have an 1800psi Karcher electric power washer and have plenty of pressure from my other wands. This wand might be good for light cleaning, but, if you are buying this to reach high places with high pressure, look for another product.

It's time to paint my house again, and instead of renting a gas powered washer and extension wand, I decided to try this extension on my electric Karcher pressure washer. The extension is well made with nice fitting joints and plenty of threads, didn't leak at all. I could not tell any difference in the pressure using the extension or not using it, which is exactly what you want. One of the reviewers complained about lack of pressure, but there had to be something else going on with their rig because this thing works perfectly. Because the whole extension is filled with water when you use it, the overall weight is significant when you extend it from your body a ways. Probably not an ideal situation for a woman but no different from any other extension out there in that respect. I just ordered the underbody sprayer and I think that will compliment my rig nicely for doing the siding at the top.

The extension worked beautifully for our two-story home, and the description was very clear re: which models it fit. There was no trouble with mating or fitting. Highly recommended for high, hard to reach places.

This allowed me to powerwash the second story siding on my house. Most of it without the use of a ladder/scaffold.

Once I purchased my pressure washer, I loved it! It's amazing how much dirt can accumulate! I washed the drive-way, sidewalks, deck, back patio, you name it. After a few jobs, I realized I was getting kinks in my lower back. I decided to purchase the extension wand. WOW! What a huge difference. Pressure washing was so much easier with the extension. I found I was able to get the jobs done FASTER with no back pain.

I like the pressure washer quite a lot. The extension allows me to reach my upper eave above the garage door without pulling out a ladder. My only problem is that it is heavy when operating and I'm afraid a smaller person or a woman would have difficulty using it effectively. My wife couldn't. It provided a very good cleaning action despite the length. I like it fine.

It worked well and was a quality item in fact the quality was better
than I expected for the price.

I ordered the extension kit because we have a very high-pitched roof on one of our garages that the regular wand wouldn't reach. It worked very well once I got the extension inserted into the hose handle. It wouldn't go in with just the normal push and twist; I had to actually bang it on the ground and then twist. (That's why I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5). I'm just going to leave it in since I can now go back and forth between shorter and longer extensions. This was exactly what I needed for the pressure washer to be used for different applications around our property. I didn't have a problem holding it because of the weight as some other reviews stated. Because of some of those objections I almost didn't buy the extension kit, but knew I needed it and am glad I went ahead and purchased. I would recommend this product accessory to anyone who has heights on their home.

I used this up under the eaves of our house (up high) and it worked really great. I will say that you begin to feel it in your arms if you hold it there a while (I'm sure it's not because I'm out of shape or anything like that.....:) )It's lightweight aluminum but it still feels a little heavy after a while.

Anyway, I would recommend it for those places you just can't get your pressure washer to. I've used it with all the extensions for those high up places and also with just one extension. Either way, it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

The wand only fits washers up to 2300 psi and won't work on my 2650 psi washer. I can't find anywhere where it says this in description. Unable to mate to tips or hose.
