washer does work.
3rd time using, the handle broke off.
While this does ave a 1 yr warranty, they do not honor it.
I have been suffering through a robotic like customer service dept in some far off country, that is just down right awful.
Made 6 phone calls to try to get replacement handle, and, after nearly loosing it with a supervisor, she said she would send one out.
Received a 0 dollar invoice, showing the order was placed, 2 weeks aga and still have not received item.
Too bad, half way decent product, awful customer service.

I received this product about two weeks ago. I had a little trouble connecting the pressure hose, but once my husband helped it all worked. It did a good job removing moss from my flagstone deck and is easy to use.

However, there is both a pressure cord and a power cord and there are no hooks to wrap the cords on. I think that is why they do not show any cords in the picture.

I bought this one because it has an induction motor. Several of the other 1800 psi electric pressure washers do not have induction motors and in reading customer reviews, several people had trouble with the motors burning out on other models.

I only used the Karcher for 20-30 minutes at a time so I do not know if it can run for a couple of hours. I had no problems at all. I would recommend this for purchase.

I purchased the Karcher washer and it worked for a while. The plastic hose connector sprang a leak. It took 8 weeks to get the part. Now the on-off switch broke, again plastic, and it has been three months trying to get the part. I'm giving up on it and will not buy a Karcher again!

We owned this model for about a year but used it maybe 20 times during that period. It was working fine for what we needed for, washing the patio, vinyl siding and the driveway. We didn't need a lot a pressure so the 1800 psi was adequate. Then this last weekend I used it to clean the cinder block walls in our garage and I noticed the unit was leaking from inside. After taking off the yellow cover I observed the plastic pump elbow was cracked. I could understand after a few years that this would happen but 1 year? I checked to see if I could order parts and most websites don't even have this model listed and the one site I found showed some generic parts that may work. Very disappointed with paying this kind of money only to have it fail after 20 uses. And by the way, many parts inside this unit are made in China... does that tell you anything about quality? I thought this was made in Germany... but maybe it is only assembled in Germany. This one is sitting out at the end of my driveway for garbage pickup.

DO NOT BUY ANY KARCHER UNIT!!! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONTACT KARCHER DIRECTLY IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. THE SERVICE CENTERS CAN CHARGE YOU WHAT EVER THEY WANT....EVEN IF THE UNIT IS UNDER WARRANTY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

If you're considering a Karcher electric power washer, you should know that Karcher will not warranty their products unless they're purchased at an "approved outlet." They play this little game by talking about that requirement on their website, but fail to mention that if you buy from eBay or anyone else they consider "not authorized," you get no warranty whatsoever.

I'm out $200 because, as one of the people they have the nerve to call a 'customer care representative' told me, "You should have read the warranty card that came with your product."

When asked how a consumer could accomplish that before purchase, considering the warranty card is inside the box with the washer, she was stumped for an answer. When I asked why they don't disclose on their website that they won't warranty products from unapproved retailers, more silence ensued.

Very disappointing to encounter a high-profile brand with deceptive business practices.

This was so frustrating! I cannot get the pressure hose to connect- No one can. I looked very carefully at the "instructions" and there isn't a sufficient illustration to show if my particular product is missing the connector? How STUPID is this company...well, rather...how STUPID am I for having bought this poorly produced product. I read other reviews and I see it's not just ME!

I bought this power washer mainly to clean my macaws' cage and to do small clleaning jobs around the house. In less than a year I had to have it replaced (no problem doing this) because if I turned the switch off while using it the washer would not turn back on until it cooled down for a couple of hours. The replacement unit they sent did the same thing so I sent it back and got another replacement. Within a few uses this second replacement was doing the same thing. I gave up and just work around the problem. The one I have now after less than 1 year of use is losing power. Never again! I'll buy a Campbell Housefeld again which served me well for six years.

Only used few times, 1st I repalced the gun (1/3 of the whole unit), worked few months. Later replaced a pump part, and worked for few months. Now it's totally dead.

nevr buy any electtric pressure waher made by this Karcher. made in German, so what?

It took me 3 tries and I should have quit after one. Bought a Karcher which worked for about 3 hours. It took several months including a trip of 30 miles to an "official Karcher Repairer" who said he was sorry but they gave up on Karcher the previous week because they were so hard to deal with and didn't send parts for the repairs. He suggested never buying a Karcher.

Finally Karcher returned when I sent the unit to them WELL PACKED a flimsy box with a "refurbished unit" falling out of the box with broken parts. Karcher never replied to my attempts to get another one without broken parts. I was able to get it together without the external parts like the handle that had been smashed and it worked the next summer for again about 2 hours then started to leak like crazy and wouldn't shut off. Of course Karcher was no help when I tried to get it replaced.

I finally bought one from COSTCO the next summer and had similar problems but used their money back guarantee and they gave me back my money and I let them deal with it when it only worked for 2 uses. I complained strongly to them and haven't seen another electric one on their shelves for sale but I haven't looked at them very often so maybe they have been there.

My conclusion was that Karcher ELECTRIC washers at least are not worth the time and efforts and you are smart to buy some other brand. I replaced mine with a low end gas powered one from an old line American brand and have had it for 4 years and it works great within the limits of its pressure capability. I should have bought it originally and would have saved hours of frustration and money.

My advice? DO NOT BUY KARCHER of any type. Their factory service was completely incapable of helping in a reasonable amount of time and I would assume all their pressure washers of any type will also receive the same lack of decent customer service.
