5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I just purchased the T-100 surface cleaner at Lowe's. I don't know if it was on clearance but it was very inexpensive so definitely worth trying. First, let me say that the instructions say this is not a scrubber so if you need scrubbing this won't be the product for you. It is also not a commercial product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not For Use with Screw-on Trigger Guns (Bad Product Description)
I purposely bought this model over the next model up (Karcher T-350 Surface Cleaner), because this item is listed as being for pressures washers up to 2300PSI, my washer falls into this category. Additionally the product description specifically stated:

"...[The T-100 fits] most other gasoline pressure washers. Includes reverse adaptor for other makes."...

I just purchased the T-100 surface cleaner at Lowe's. I don't know if it was on clearance but it was very inexpensive so definitely worth trying. First, let me say that the instructions say this is not a scrubber so if you need scrubbing this won't be the product for you. It is also not a commercial product.

I first used the T-100 on my cement driveway which is painted. It did a very good job but since the cement wasn't that dirty the results were not a good test. I moved on to cleaning my pavers which were black with mildew and the T-100 got rid of that mildew in short order. My pavers are close to a fence and in the past when using a pressure washer wand the sand has been blown out of the paver crevices and stuck all over the fence which created another cleaning job. Not so with the T-100--it keeps all debris on the ground and not over your fence, your walls, and you, so for this benefit the T-100 is great.

After using the T-100 on my pavers I moved on to my patio area which has large cement stone squares with a pattern indentation and also has some popcorn stone squares. The T-100 did an excellent job on the cement squares with the pattern even cleaning out the indented pattern area. It did not do well on the popcorn-type squares but I did not expect it to do well since dirt accumulates down into the popcorn-like material and is difficult to get out even with the strong power washer wand. I hate those popcorn things--they gotta go! I also have a small smooth cement slab by the back door which had a lot of mildew and the T-100 cleaned it with no problem and kept the walls and door from flying debris and water. I rinsed all the cement off with my garden hose or the vario attachment to my Karcher pressure washer after I was done with the T-100. I still have stains on some of the cement and I think those stains are due to fertilizer dropping on it and probably requires a chemical to clean up. One thing I would do differently next time is to be sure to blow all the debris off the patio first and make sure there are no small pebbles or rocks since they could damage the turning spray arms in the T-100 which are plastic.

My next chore was cleaning a painted wood deck. I was hoping the T-100 would not remove the paint--it didn't and it left everything nice and clean. In the past I have cleaned the deck by scrubbing it on my hands and knees so the T-100 made that chore a breeze and was done in a fraction of the time.

I live in Florida and after a daily rain for a week or so we get a lot of black mildew on driveways, walkways, and patios. The mildew can be removed with the power washer using the high pressure wand but it is slow going since the wand's spray does not cover as much surface area at a time as the T-100 does and using the wand results in dirty water on nearby walls, windows, plants and on you.

Bottom line: Benefits of the T-100 are 1) covering a larger surface at a time and 2) not spraying debris all over fences and walls and 3) time saver. These benefits are well worth the small price I paid and makes it a great value to me and a terrific accessory to my home use pressure washer.

I am a 72-year old grandmother and using this T-100 is a no brainer. The extension pieces snap together easily and if you have the storage space you don't have to take it apart--just put it away and it will be ready for your next use. I bought a second T-100 for my daughter and can't wait to hear how she likes it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knocks off grime and mud like nobady's business, January 8, 2007
This review is from: Karcher Surface Cleaner Attachment for Electric Pressure Washers, Model# T100 (Tools & Home Improvement)
If you have flatwork that gets a lickin' from mud, soot, smog, gunk---this is the ticket. I have five dogs and a couple of kids that love to run around in the yard; unfortunately, I've got clay soils that sticks to everything---including the dogs' paws and kids' feet---which is then transfered to concrete, wood, vinyl, glass---you name it. You know the kind---it wicks down into the pores of whatever surface it gets on---and is immune from brooms, ordinary garden hoses, even scrubbing when wet! Add Santa Ana dusts, smog, everything gets coated with a nice layer of crud that seeps in and does not come off---and that makes the dogs and kids dirtier, the lady of the house unhappy, and you with a problem on your hands.

This surface cleaner is the ticket. Kicks the crap right out of the pores, and you're good to go usually after a single pass. And that's on roughly a square foot surface area, which if you've ever done any power washing is nice---it's not like you're getting it done in 1/12th of the time (effective washing with a typical spray nozzle is about an inch wide), more like 1/144th of the time. True, you may need to go back over a space or two, and may need to switch to the rotating dirtblaster nozzle attachment for really ground in spots (which is a breeze with Karcher's attachment system), but if you're trying to clean a flat surface in a jiffy, this is what the doctor orders.

You will be called the superman of your household with nice clean everything (and the accoutrements which go with that title), in addition to being the envy of every other guy on your block. Don't lend it out; tell 'em to go get their own! And, however tempted you may be, do not use on the dogs, kids, or lady of the house. Big trouble if you do.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a MUST HAVE! Highest recommendation., July 10, 2009
This review is from: Karcher Surface Cleaner Attachment for Electric Pressure Washers, Model# T100 (Tools & Home Improvement)
Who would think you could be sooo tickled and delighted with an attachment to a pressure washer...but we sure are at this house! We power wash 2 very long driveways and 2 patio areas 3 times a year. Living in the South, we have all that wonderful mildew and mold. Using a wand attachment made this job LONG and painful.
With the T100 attachment a job that would take days now takes hours. It does a fantastic job and it won't leave streaks like the wand did. It's also quieter than the wand attachment was. Very lightweight and easy for anyone to operate.
If you power wash a driveway or deck area, this is the attachment you have to have. Easy, works well and the price is very very reasonable. Don't you wish everything was that great! Well when you find something like this you just want to shout it to the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get the job done fast!, September 2, 2008
This review is from: Karcher Surface Cleaner Attachment for Electric Pressure Washers, Model# T100 (Tools & Home Improvement)
This product is ideal for cleaning driveways and patios. Instead of cleaning just a narrow strip at a time, this disk will clean a large circular area in a heartbeat. Just attach it to your hose and push in front of you like a vacuum cleaner, going back and forth occasionally. We cleaned a 20' x 40' patio in about an hour and a half. Underneath the cover, there are two spray heads on a rotating bar, with plastic fringe around the outer edge of cover to keep the water from spraying outside the disk. You don't get water sprayed on you, and sand between pavers is not removed (if you've ever pressure-washed pavers, I'm sure you've seen the sand get blasted out!). I attached it to a Karcher pressure washer, I don't know if it works with other brands.

For large areas such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, etc., this product saves a lot of time compared to using the standard spray nozzle on my electric Karcher pressure washer. Then you can touch up the edges or uneven surfaces with the standard nozzle. No complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really handy attachment, November 1, 2007
This review is from: Karcher Surface Cleaner Attachment for Electric Pressure Washers, Model# T100 (Tools & Home Improvement)
We had a Karcher pressure washer for a few years. Earlier this year I saw the T-100 Surface attachment and had to have it. (I first verified on the Karcher site that it fit my Karcher washer.)

This thing is great. It's as simple as using a vacuum cleaner, using the same sweeping motions. Instead of making small paths of uneven cleanliness as we were getting before it makes 12" paths which are even. My husband loves it. We went on a binge of cleaning every outdoor flat surface. It can do vertical or horizonal surfaces.

It comes with two nozzles, one for high pressure washers and one for lower presure washers. Just swap the nozzle so the right one is in for your unit.

I have a deck which was never maintained for over 30 years. I was amazed at how well this unit cleaned the deck. It will still require a second cleaning, b ut the difference is amazing with very little effort. My only complaint is that the unit is very light and on the backward stroke, the head will sometimes tip up, but you can prevent it if you are careful. The nice thing is that all of the water is contained within the head of the unit, so it doesn't splash all over the adjacent shrubs or siding. This particular model is designed for the lower pressure Karcher power washers. In my case, I am going to spray on some mold killer after the next cleaning.

I was used to it taking 3 to 4 hours to power-wash my patio. This nifty add-on helped me get it done in 1.5 hours. Another couple of benfits were the decreased mess from overspray and I had less arm fatigue since it "floats" almost on its own versus me having to stand over it and meticulously move the sprayer.

I was skeptical when I ordered it, but I can tell you that it's a very nice tool that makes a tough job MUCH easier (and is just as effective).

I thought this item cleaned my garage floor much better than I expected. I didn't use any detergent but it still came clean.
