K-12 surface cleaner,
By A Customer
This review is from: Karcher K-12 Surface Cleaner (Lawn & Patio)
I've owned the K-12 surface cleaner for 3 months and have used it several times and it performes as advertised! The cleaning effect is the same as using the regular nozzle except it covers a wider area ( 12 inches ) and no water splatters, just a small amount oozes from under the unit. It does "float" and makes cleaning floors, decks, and walkways a snap. I haven't used it on vertical surfaces but think it would work as well.

I was worried after reading other reviews, but it works well with my presure washer. Model K 3.87. Even got the bonus of having a extension that works with my sprayer and wash brush too. All the adjustments work well and I cleaned my driveway (1000 SQFT)and will do my deck and garage floor too. The "hovering system" with twin sprayers and brush around the edge cleans EVENLY and keeps user dry. I am not sure about vertical surfaces, although the unit is light. I would buy again, just make sure it fits your washer, with the "push and twist" Karcher connection system.

Karcher K-12 surface cleaner,
By A Customer
This review is from: Karcher K-12 Surface Cleaner (Lawn & Patio)
Based just on the first couple of hours of use I have the following comments. It believe it is doing a good job of cleaning my deck - probably no better than just using the fan pattern from the Karcher pressure washer, but much faster. However, the top knob which adjusts the "Spray Power" was stuck in one position on mine. I called Karcher and their rep said that is the way it is supposed to be (not true, according to instruction book). Finally after tugging and muscling it I finally got it to turn, as it should have done in the first place. Also, the other adjustment (Air Flow Control)does not catch onto the detent and just flaps around freely as it is being used, so is of no use at all. I was thinking of taping it into one position (hey, a use for some of that duct tape my wife recently bought!), but it should work properly in the first place.
