This is a story of Ann M. Martin called "Karen's Worst Day".It's about Karen and everything is going wrong like she gets in a fight with her friend ,her cat Boo-Boo ran awawy from her, she gets sent to her room ,favorite tv show didn't come on today either but at the end of the day everything turns out okay.

when karen has bad dreams, she knows that's the beginning of her worst day. at first, karen has a hakf bad day but it keeps getting worse! she tries everything but nothing can stop karen's bad day. boo hoo. at dinner, karen finds out that she topped the worst day recard and that made karen feel proud of herself and things became so much better when she talked with everyone and shared her feelings.

NO FAIR!...Karen is having a bad-luck day. Her favorite jeans are missing. There's no prize in the Crunch-O cereal box. And Boo-Boo cat runs away from her!
Karen tries everything to make her day better. But her bad luck just won't go away. She even gets punished and sent to her room!
Poor Karen--Will this be her worst day ever?

After breaking her wrist in "Karens Roller Skates", things dont seem to be going very well for 6-year-old Karen Brewer. It all started Saturday morning when Karen had a bad dream and fell out of bed. From there, the following things happen: she forgets to pack her favorite new pair of jeans for her weekend stay at her fathers, the prize package in the Crunch-O cereal box is empty, her favorite TV show (Mr. Ed) is postponed, she has a fight with her best friend (Hannie Papadakis), and her favorite toy cat (Moosie) is falling apart. It looks like Karens setting a new bad-day record. But will her bad luck finally run out by the days end--or will she continue having bad luck?

Also recommended: "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" by Judith Viorst, which was one of the books Karen read that perked her out of her bad mood.
