4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable for Mid-Low Mileage Heel Strikers
This is a very comfortable shoe. It runs true to size, or maybe a little big. It seems like it's been designed for runners who land heel first -- or for walkers. I'm more of a forefoot striker, so I like to wear them around town, and for runs under 7 miles. When I wear them for longer runs, the friction builds up and I get hot spots. 3.0 out of 5 stars Shoe size NOT true to fit
I ordered these in an 8 and I wear a 7.5, but they were still too small! And Amazon does not do exchanges for things that aren't their "fault" like ordering shoes and finding out they don't fit! So, now I have to pay the shipping to send them back and wait for another shoe sale b/c when I got them they were $30 cheaper....so frustrating!!! Back to good ole running...

I'm more of a forefoot striker, so I like to wear them around town, and for runs under 7 miles. When I wear them for longer runs, the friction builds up and I get hot spots. I think the "fulcrum" is designed for a heel-striking runner, and I can't seem to get the stride right.

4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely comfortable, order half size up., July 26, 2011

I took the advice of reviewers on another retailer's website and ordered a half size up, so got just the right size. Out of the box these were beautifully cushioned and comfortable. I have a narrow heel and fairly wide toe; like room in toebox. The arch support is medium, I'd say - I'd be happy if it were more but it is OK as is. I was looking for street shoes as I walk a lot and have worn the previous pair to the point that they are now yardwork shoes. But even there, good support is important, particularly since I spend a certain amount of time up on a ladder.

My one complaint (beside this annoying sizing issue from Chinese factories), and it is serious enough to cost one star, is the lack of a finger loop to aid in getting these on the foot. For the price asked, and even on a less expensive runner, this should be standard equipment.

I like this shoe being darker as it doesn't emphasize my oversized hooves so much. The nearly florescent red markings will fade to a pleasing softer red with the addition of abrasion and dirt. And I like the good ventilation for summer. This really makes a difference in foot health. I am, overall, delighted with these runners.

5.0 out of 5 stars nicest sneaks I've worn!, January 3, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I followed the advice of another review and order 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.
They fit really well at first but now they're stretching. I think I could have gotten away with my true size after all. I really love them though. Very comfortable, good for my arches and wide toes.
