New Life for old music, August 11, 2010
Les Boreades de Montreal is the most exciting and invigorating interpreters of Baroque Music. Throw in Canada's Karina Gauvin, have them do Purcell, and WOW.... it's like you have never heard this music before. There is such a lightness and playfulness with this music. These interpretations give new life to over recorded repertoire. All of Gauvin and Les Boreades recordings are so worth the money and time. You will love it. As much as I love the voices of Bonney, Te Kanewa, Battle etc.... I will visit with them later (but not forget them)
