Well, I don't have kids, and I don't collect dolls, so I'm not really an expert. I actually got this doll on a whim since my name is Zoe and I go to England frequently. However, I think she seems like a lovely doll, and I could see really liking her when I was child. She is a really nice size, larger then I thought, because I didn't read the description carefully, and in the stock photo next to the charm she is proportionally smaller then in real life. So instead of being more barbie sized she is the kind of doll a child would probably like to hug and carry around. Her legs are very long which makes her a little floppy, but she sits nicely everywhere, and she has soft hands and feet.
A bonus too is that she comes with an activation code where you can log on to a website, and pick how to help a child through a charity donation included with the dolls purchase. Very pleased.
