If you prefer the washed over pop version of country that you oftentimes hear today, you may not like this cd. But if you enjoy the country music of an era where the airwaves were ruled by traditional singers like Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Tammy Wynette etal, then you're in for a treat. This is a cd that merges Karling's twang with some great steel guitar work and a terrific group of songs. I'd recommend this cd to anyone who is a true fan of country. Well done.

This is true country music in the tradition of Patsy Cline. Far from most of today's contrived 'formula' ridden country music.
Karlings' twang sounds so pure, when she sings a sad song it'll tug at your heart, then you'll get this strong urge to take her in your arms and say "it's okay, Karling; from now on everything will be alright". Guys be careful you'll fall in love...

All the songs are great and don't get it in your mind that all have a sad tone to them, some are upbeat which constitute for a well balance mix of moods; there's this song "Just Love Me One More Time" it's catchy as it compels you to play in 'repeat' mode. The danger here of course is learning the lyrics, then finding yourself singing along. Then you're lost!

So, jump off that tall steed and take pleasure in a voice that can make an aching heart beautiful and relive past romances.
Your ears will thank you, your earlobes will tingle.
