I found Doreen's tape to be exceptionally powerful. One needs to be forewarned that one will be releasing "negative" garbage by the completion of this tape. I think that one will find that one's negative issues will be released swiftly, and in some cases, some issues in which one was not even aware that they were carrying them around! All I can say is that I used this tape the first day I received it and felt "pounds" of negativity fall away and I really felt lighter and more joyful. I intend to use this tape on a weekly basis, in conjunction with Doreen's other tapes!

Very powerful and cleansing!!!! Highly recommend this tape.

This tape is only about 30 minutes long total. On the first side, Doreen Virtue gives a very concise summary of karma and other spiritual principles. She explains that while karma is based on cause and effect, we are not obliged to suffer because of past mistakes. The idea that growth can only come through suffering is an illusion. She explains that many of us have made vows in other lifetimes, such as poverty, celibacy or simply to suffer, that are affecting our present lives. She also reminds us that linear time is not real; everything, including our "past" lives, is happening now. Side two of the tape is a very powerful meditation that, with the help of angels, allows us to release karma from this and other lifetimes. She gives a very complete list of possible ways we may be depriving ourselves or suffering from events in this or other lives, and has us release all of it. She asks us to let go of the pain we may have caused others as well as pain we have suffered at the hands of others. I have only listened to it once so far, but I know I will listen again many times to be reminded of these precious lessons.

The first time I used this tape, I cried most of the way through it. I could feel myself releasing so much unnecessary energy. It was really deep. Make sure that you do the tape/CD when you are alone if you can.

In the meditation, Doreen goes through a list of various traumas that we may have experienced in past lives and guides you to open yourself to letting the angels remove any attachments to these experiences. If you were to look at the meditation typed out, it seems really simple, but I have to say that what I experienced totally surprised me. I've never had that powerful a response to a taped meditation before or since then.

I don't remember if this tape has you ground at the end. I would definately recommend taking time to yourself and doing something to focus your energy back on the present. Exercise, do a grounding meditation, take a bath, or eat something so that your body can wind down from the experience. Whatever works for you.

The meditation on side two does exactly what it says it will do...it clears negative karma. I found it very simple to follow Doreen's lead. I listen to the tape on a daily basis and feel so grateful for the help! Doreen Virtue is a genuine healer.

Many people beleive in past lives, and wonder what type of situations they may have experienced in these inacrnations. Sometimes, souls carry over painful situations and belief systems into their present lives, which do not serve God, angels, or humanity. It is important for us to clear away painful patterns not only from past lives, but from our present existence as well. Dr. Doreen Virtue will guide you through a powerful releasement meditation where your angels will clear you from negativity you may not even be aware of.

First, what I didn't like; I do not find Dr Virtue's voice soothing at all. In fact the high, thin register often consciously annoyed me during the intro. Luckily I was able to put that aside during the guided meditation.

Also, I disagree very strongly with her view of linear time, and in the first explanatory half she states her *view* as a matter of *fact*. And further, she ties her beliefs of karma healing to her view of time, so I wasn't sure the guided meditation would engage me.

At one point (a litany of ways people die) the guided meditation felt rather oppressive and made me think what a crappy planet this can be. Perhaps it will always remind me that Earth can suck; perhaps that means I need to do more 'releasing' and it will pass.

Now for the good news -- the guided meditation is mostly wonderful. On the first listening I felt three separate releases. I have no idea of what, or what that will mean in my life, but I'll take it.

So for me, I doubt I will ever listen to the intro again, but I am very likely to use the guided meditation often.

This is a simple CD that is based upon the idea that there are old patterns, beliefs and wounds that have followed each soul from previous incarnations. However, no belief in past lives or even in Angels is needed to benefit from this CD. Simply Stated, "Karma Realeasing: CLearing Away Painful Patterns from Your Past" is about forgiving yourself and surrendering to God.

No matter what your faith tradition, everyone can benefit from this simple but powerful affirmation.

i have insominia, anxiety disorder, adhd and a chronic worrier.

i use this tape before i go to sleep. Doreen Virtue has an excellent view on karma and explanation on self talk and thinking.

i like her analogy of the 4 videos which could be your life: the drama, the comedy of errors, the tragedy and a glorious inspiring film...all running at the same time - and we get to pick which life we CHOOSE to have. It's along the lines of cogenitive behaviour therapy.

she emphasises in all the right places who we are and how much in control we are of the NOW regardless of past or future lives. Plus we deserve to be happy.

the second side releases us from what we could have made as vows or things that could have happened to us in previous lives that affects this life. she mentions all things and we do this with her while doing a breath exercise - i am asleep before it's over. i feel so relieved and set FREE.

i listen to it every night and each time i get new teachings. i have not listened to her other angel tapes but have ordered them - the karma one certainly works for me!!

I would say that even though the information in the CD is ok, you can't enjoy it because she talks sooooooooooooo fast, it doesn't invite to stop and think but rather just to be as concentrated as possible to be able to understand/listen to all that she says. If you get distracted one second analysing something she said, she is already in another idea and you have no clue of the relation.
Did not like it, it should be slower to let you have a moment to meditate what she is saying, not talking as if it was a race to see how fast she can tell everything to you.

...there is a magic in Dr. Virtue's voice. Even though I do not quite agree with her devoting a substantial portion of her Guided Meditation to the various methods of dying and torture, (I do not dispute their relevance--just the large portion devoted to them), her tone and diction indeed helped me get into the Karma Releasing frame of mind. If her obvious communicative and, I think almost magical power could be channeled through more positive frames of reference, there is no telling to what extent she would be able to help not only individuals but also humanity in general. One Caveat: The CD is (sadly) Abridged.
