Wow, this book is crazy hot! It tells the love story between Lucas Cain, the hottest narcotics detective in New York City, and Justine Greer, the gorgeous news reporter. Instant sparks between the two leave them both wanting more. Falling in love is never that simple, and Karma certainly doesn't sit by and watch it happen. Lucas has been macking for so long, his feelings for Justine are terrifying. For the first time, he wants to be hers and only hers - he just doesn't know if he can resist temptation. Justine's jealous friend Simone only makes matters worse. Simone tempts Lucas by showing off her gorgeous body and letting Lucas know that she wants him, and she will do anything to get what she wants. Lucas is only a man, and even a man in love must face temptation, and deal with the consequences of his choices. While all the love drama unfolds, Lucas and his sarcastic, know-it-all partner, Noah, have to go undercover on a dangerous assignment to take down a notorious drug lord! The action is non-stop, and the love scenes are so hot, I burned my fingers turning pages! Karma is a MUST read for all urban fiction fans!

Karma is full of love, lust & juicy secrets. You will fall in love with Lucas Cain immediately after reading just a few pages about him. I really enjoyed this book & was ready to hop in it at times and slap the mess out of Simone! Some female always trying to break up a happy home. Lol, overall great read.

I'll be honest, I bought the book months ago but put it aside because the cover didn't do anything for me. But I finally read it a couple of months ago, and boy am I pissed! At myself! For having waited so long!

Justine Greer is a television reporter and Lucas Cain is a police detective; and when the two meet sparks fly; in a good way! Rooting them on is Justine's college girl friend, Holly; and Lucas' partner, Noah.

Out to sabotage their relationship is Simone - another college friend who sabotaged one of Justine's relationships in the past.

Simone is blatant about the way she goes after Lucas, and it's remarkable that Justine doesn't step to her on the quick. In fact, even Lucas doesn't why she doesn't.

What's even more remarkable is that Lucas decides to enlist Simone's help in one of his investigations.

So, okay, some of the story kinda asks yu to suspend belief, but the writing and the story is so good yu don't care.

This is a book that shouldn't be passed up!

In KARMA, Ms. Eubanks spins a mysterious web of treachery and betrayal. Readers will be immediately drawn into the hot romance between Justine and Lucas, and caught on the edge of their seats as Simone draws Lucas further and further into her clutches with each forbidden sexual advance. Ms. Eubanks did a good job delivering this installment and I look forward to reading more about these characters in KARMA II.

Lucas Cain and Justine Greer met at a local bar called Gideons. When she walked through the door he had to meet her. Not only did they meet, he left with a promise of a date. Their relationship was like a fairy tale come true until Lucas made a decision that would test Justine's patience. As people do they play tit for tat and as we know that is not the right answer. Justine plans and executes her own attack of revenge against all parties involved only to find out that revenge can be bitter sweet.
As we watch Justine and Lucas struggle to keep it together, we are also entertained by Lucas and his partner Noah as they go undercover to bring down a drug lord and rapper name Nine. Who happens to be dating Justines friend who projects herself into their life in a very uncompromising way. As Lucas tries to find his way at being committed to Justine and not blow his cover temptations are all around him. What Lucas find is a high price for him to pay in his career and personal life.

Karma was slightly missing the excitement of the many TC publications I've read in the past. It doesn't mean this book cannot stand on its own; it certainly does but for me it was missing that urban thang. For me urban flair is more than drugs, rap and hip hop. It's the grit of the streets and the lives the characters live. I do plan to read Karma part 2 because the reader is left with so many unanswered questions. For Ms. Eubanks this was a pretty good start.

Reader's Paradise

This book was great and a must read. It was not one boring spot in this book. It was definitely a page turner.

Love can make us do some crazy things...this books just proves that sometimes you have to let well enough alone...let karma do its thing, don't try to intervene and create your own, it never works out...Sadly Justine Greer found this out at the end! The theme and plot of this book definitely makes me think of "EVERYTHING THAT GLITTER ISN'T GOLD"!

This was a good read. Shows you how hard it is to change a player and to have female friends. I just wished this story had ended differently

Finished reading KARMA by Sabrina A. Eubanks. I've had this book since it came out and never really picked it up with any seriousness. However, I saw that book three was coming out so I decided to read it. I was truly surprised at how much I enjoyed it since I have kinda laid off of Triple Crown Books. I must tell you the book was very entertaining and I am now on the second book. So Kudos to Sabrina A. Eubanks.

This book is HOT!HOT!HOT Read! I thought when I first read this book,oh yeah this was going to be another revenge type of book.But romance played a big part in it.Also seduction,and temptation play a major role.Lucas,Justine,And Simone are three people who lives envolves one another.One being Jealousy of the fact every thing is handed to them.So a cat,and mouse of seduction comes into play.I never thought a book would provoke some type of emotion the way this book did.I guess it was because I was rooting for the characters to some how live happily ever after ,without another persons envolvement.
You see this what this book does to ya .You be expressing some type of feelings for the characters in the book,and the plot of the story will draw you in so deep in it. t will do nothing but envoke emotion.

This book is definitely a must read!!!!

You got to read it to find out what happens to Justine,Lucas,and Simone.....
