4.0 out of 5 stars Great bar - high price!

These bars are GREAT! Very tasty. No high fructose corn syrup. I bought them for my toddler-age sons, both of whom really liked similar bars from Gerber and NutriGrain. I was really shocked and disappointed to learn that those bars had high fructose corn syrup, though. (Seriously? A bar specifically for BABIES has HFCS?!) So I opted for these. They LOVE them,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but seem dry
They're good breakfast/snack bars... but they're very dry compared to the blackberry flavor. I probably won't be purchasing the strawberry again.

I was really shocked and disappointed to learn that those bars had high fructose corn syrup, though. (Seriously? A bar specifically for BABIES has HFCS?!) So I opted for these. They LOVE them, and so do I. But I get them for 2.79/box locally. Even the most expensive grocery store around has them for 3.29/box. I'm all for convenience, but we go through way too many boxes of these for it to be worth paying an extra fifty cents or a dollar (or more - price seems to vary by flavor here) more per box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great Kashi product., April 21, 2010

I love Kashi products. I eat one of these every day. The only complaint I have is with Amazon's price of this product and food products in general. You can get this at local stores (you know the Red and the Blue one) for less than 3 dollars a box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bar ever, December 15, 2011
This review is from: Kashi TLC Cereal Bar, Ripe Strawberry, 6 - 1.2 oz Bars, (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I don't have a lot of time to cook breakfast in the mornings. Kashi bars have saved my life. I eat these every morning, the strawberry is without a doubt the best flavor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for toddlers on the go, October 3, 2011

My 3-yr-old hates to sit at the table and eat breakfast, she always wants to take a snack in a cup and run around. Most days, she would rather go without breakfast than sit down and eat. I finally compromised and got her some Kashi cereal bars that she could eat on the go. I was so pleased to find something with whole grains, real fruit and no high fructose corn syrup that I could give her. She loves them, I love that she eats them and they are better for her than other bars on the market. I wish they had more flavors than the three I'm always buying, I would purchase more to give her more variety!

4.0 out of 5 stars wonderful!, May 2, 2011
This review is from: Kashi TLC Cereal Bar, Ripe Strawberry, 6 - 1.2 oz Bars, (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I have loved Kashi cereal for years and recently found these bars, which are like some of the other cereal bars (NutriGrain?) I have had in the past, but from everything I can tell, seem to be of better quality. I think they work great as a snack or a quick breakfast. Better than a candy bar, but not as good a the raw fruit! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Yum!, January 19, 2011

I'm becoming a big fan of Kashi for my family and these cereal bars are great! (And the apple ones, too.) My 20 month old has severe food allergies and kashi bars are one of the only easy things she can have for breakfast (meaning, if she doesn't have a kashi bar, I'll be whipping something up from scratch... and 20 month olds tend to like breakfast sooner rather than much later). So for our family, these are a staple.

Also, given that we live in the country, these are not available to us locally, so being able to buy them via amazon's subscription makes it VERY helpful for our family. (Unless amazon runs out and it takes them a month to get them in stock and delivered which kind of defeats to point of a subscription... *ahem*... amazon, you might want to work on that.)

Overall though, I'd recommend these! I love how healthy they are. I love how they have wholesome ingredients (that my daughter isn't allergic to). And I love that they have all that and still taste good! Thanks, Kashi!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but cakey, May 11, 2010

My daughter loves fruit filled bars. I am not such a fan because of the sugar contant and unhealthy flour they use to make most of them. So I decided to try these (since they seemed like they would be healthier).

The taste is good. The size is good. The only drawback is that the bar is a little dry and cakey, almost like a bran muffin. The texture took a bit getting used to, but other than that the fruit bar is pretty good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Yummy and Healthy, February 17, 2010
This review is from: Kashi TLC Cereal Bar, Ripe Strawberry, 6 - 1.2 oz Bars, (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I enjoy most Kashi products, and this one is no exception.

Pros:
Tastes great, can taste fresh strawberries plus the whole grains.
Not too sweet.
No high fructose corn syrup.
No artificial ingredients.
Individually wrapped.

Cons:
They are a bit on the dry side.
A little more expensive than other cereal bars, but very much worth it.

My 17 year old son will grab one of these as he leaves for school which makes me feel that he is getting something decent for breakfast. He enjoys the straberry flavor of the bar.
