I recieved this brush set for christmas and i love it. i dont use the big brushes as much as the smaller ones just because i like to have more control with where my make up is going. They come in a cool case, nice designs, high quality and very lightweight. I would recommend this product to any woman and buy this for a gift as well.

I didn't think these were cheap at all. The brushes themselves are fantastic. I've had these for a year now and they still look like new. It's an expensive price when you look at it, but if you were to buy five high quality brushes separately they could easily cost more. I also think this set is far prettier in person, as the pictures do not give the design details any justice. The only complaint I can think of is that powder can easily stick to the case, since the material isn't glossy smooth, and sometimes you need a little water to clean up smudges. But that is irrelevant to me, and if you keep your brushes clean (as you should) it shouldn't be a problem.

I was shallow enough to buy these because of the pretty cool handles. I have tried Kat's makeup and loved it! So I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. Not only are they really cool looking, these are high quality as well. You will love these! Buy them while they are available.

These are simply amazing! They are synthetic and I like that because that means that they are cruelty free and no animals were harmed in the process! Great quality and design! Very happy with them!

I purchased this item after coming across a Kat Von D review on YouTube, they definitely hyphed it up TOO much for me. I am not all too interested in make- up, nor am I follower of Kat Von D's makeup, however, I am in search for the best make up and make- up tools to last me a long time and to give me the 'basics' of make- up application.

This item does give you the basics of brushes and it does serve as a great traveling kit, even one to do touch- ups, but if you're looking for a brush kit to use EVERYday and/or for a long time, I would NOT recommend this item, as it is somewhat cheap (although the price of the kit does not reflect it).

I believe that it is the 'name' (Kat Von D) that you purchasing and not a quality brush set. I had a lot of expectations for this set, but, it did fail me.

I do have to admit though that the design is 'nice' however, they could've saved cost on design to put out a good design/ name for Kat Von D!
