Product Description

The TCCT is a modular pro camcorder case designed to adjust easily to different airline size regulations. After getting through security checks, or upon landing the bag will expand to hold your fully assembled camera in everyday use. For extremely large cameras, the lens, viewfinder or battery may need to be removed. To expand to its working position, the TCCT features rigid, padded compartments that extend the length and width of the case. The detachable Insertrolley (included) makes it easier to transport the bag through the airport. Through narrow security checks, the trolley can be removed in order to fit the airline regulations box.

I bought this case for packing our new Panasonic HPX500, for extensive road trips for a TV series I'm shooting. It works beautifully. Small quibbles: in "shooting mode" I wish it had a couple more pockets for stowing filters, wireless mics and other small-but-necessary items. In breaking down the bag into "travel mode", the zipper on the lens port is a bit small and hard to work. The insertrolly must be taken off in order to stow in the overhead bins, which is quick enough, but still a bit awkward when boarding. I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but it has proved invaluable to be able to carry on, rather than check, the camera.
