Kata Digital Micro Rucksack item number: KT DR-461 features a unique TST Rib Structural Protection for a D/SLR with a mounted lens, 2-3 lenses, flash and accessories. The main compartment holds a D/SLR while the modular dividers will separate and organize and protect lenses, and other accessories. Additional gear can be stored in the front pocket which can be accessed either externally or internally. When carrying, a sternum strap will provide ultimate comfort and stability. This rucksack is also compatible with Kata EPH system which will allow you to attach a waist pack for extra storage. The included foldable rain cover helps protect your equipment in bad weather. I didn't just buy this bag. I owned it for the past 6 months and all I can say is that it answered my quest for the right bag to be around town. I am not a fan of shoulder bags as they get in the way but having a small rucksack with the ability to store your camera with lens and hood attached, another average size lens, a 50mm prime lens, and a speed flash not to mention the extra carry space to a couple of filters and memory etc. is good enough to go around museums, concerts, the beach without carrying a motherload. The DR-461 is perhaps the only bag I will ever own. I still have a big rucksack in the closet but it is just sitting there. One added bonus is that there is a pocket outside the bag which you can put a bottle water or snacks with easy reach. Lately I have put a mini tripod in the pocket. Everything is micro, simple, and not a world of weight on your shoulders. Highly recommended. I hope they don't discontinue this jewel. I might buy another one as a back up soon. Best regards! I've looked for a camera bag this size with this quality for a long time. I can pack my D700, one large lens, 3 smaller lenses and a flash without a problem. The padding is very nice and has the same quality of the larger Kata bags.

Exactly what I was expecting. Easily holds my D200, extended grip, standard zoom, telephoto zoom and prime in the main compartment. The smaller compartment holds all my cables, filters, wallet, phone, keys (or my eeePC). Plenty of loops to attach items externally. Straps are very comfortable.
