5.0 out of 5 stars Fits All My Needs
I've had the Kata Rucksack R-101 Backpack now for over a year. This is my first review.
I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I can carry my Canon Rebel Xti with Canon Image Stabilizer 70-300mm telephoto lens attached, a Sigma 10-20mm Wide Angle lens, Canon EFS 18-55mm standard lens, Nikon Coolpix 7900 Digital Camera, Canon Vixia HG 20 High Def. Camcorder,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Too small
I was looking for a backpack that was a little smaller than my Kata 102. Although the quality (as with all Kata products), it was a little too short and when carrying my camera equipment, it actually felt heavier than my Kata 102 since it didn't seem to balance well on my back. I therefore reluctantly returned it.

Camcorder, Battery Charger for Xti & 3 batteries, Battery Charger for Nikon Coolpix 7900 & 2 batteries, 3 filters for Xti, Dry Pack for Nikon Coolpix 7900, 5 compact flash cards and a 3-piece lens care kit. The only thing I could not manage to fit in was the power adapter and cables for the camcorder. The Kata Rucksack rides comfortably on my back and the padding inside provides a safe nest for all this gear. After filling up the Kata Rucksack, I called my homeowners ins. representative and took out rider to insure my cameras, camcorder and lenses. With the added insurance and the Kata Rucksack R-101 Backpack I feel my camera gear is safe and secure.
