Product Description

The innovative waist-pack W-94 incorporates TST protection and is designed for all D/SLR systems or mini DV sets. It is comfortably shaped to fit numerous operating scenarios: Frontal carrying for quick access while opening the cover away from your body. Rear carrying for best weight distribution. Carry by the thermo-rubber handle. Main compartment can be arranged to fit your gear by using the divider system and if necessary extra Modi-Vers Kit is available. A Pro D/SLR with 2-4 lenses and additional gear like flash-unit, hood, charger, power supply, etc. will fit in this roomy pack. The front divider enables internal and external approach to the TST pocket. 2 padded zipper pouches on both sides accommodate small lenses or any other item you would like to have close at hand. Additional pockets in the lid store all required accessories. Full protection on the main zipper and KATA's unique cover makes sure your sensitive equipment is well protected from the elements.

After wasting hundreds of dollars searching and trying out different camera bags (mostly from Lowepro and Tamrac), I finally found the fastest and most comfortable waist-pack I could ever ask for. I read on some reviews that this bag was not meant for short people or for women. Let me tell you that I'm 5-feet tall, female, and this bag has done wonderful things for me. The system by the waist is for the photographer on the run, like me, who does wedding photography or other social or journalistic events. The bag has enough room for the necessary equipment (with lens attached to the DSLR body) and has even more room if you accommodate your lenses and your DSLR body without any lens attached. The waist belt wraps nicely and comfortable around the body's contours, and the shoulder strap stabilizes the whole system and gives some extra support. Definitely love it: THANK YOU KATA. Besides, the KATA website has incredible video tutorials, and animated demos to help you chose the right bag, and to teach you how to get the most out of the bag you chose. If you decide to go with Kata camera bags, you'll do yourself (and your back a favor).

The list of extraordinary features is too long to list. Go to the Kata website to read all the details about this superb camera waist-pack. Simply put, this waist pack has EVERYTHING. The build quality is in a class by itself. It is incredibly versatile, and has an optional partition system so you can customize the interior based on your equipment and your needs. Don't even waste your time researching other competitors' offerings. Nothing else comes close. If you need a larger waist-pack, then THIS one is IT! It holds both my Nikon D90 with a mounted 18-200mm VR tele-zoom lens AND my Nikon F5 with a mounted 50mm f/1.4G AF-S lens, both lenses have the Camera Armor collapsable rubber hood mounted on them too. I still have room for my Canon A720 IS P+S camera, Nikon SB-600 Speedlight Flash, several battery holders, (plastic type that holds 4 AA rechargeable batteries), SDHC cards/cases, and it still has room for another couple of medium size lenses. Included is a water-resistant treated nylon cover that can be fitted over the entire waist-pack if needed. It comes with a mesh back that can be attached to one of the extra large zippers or the attachment rings for the shoulder strap. It is extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods and even has a carrying handle with a rubber grip. I can't say enough about this item. It is the first and last waist-pack you will ever need.

I am a pro photogrpaher and this waist pack is AMAZING. Perfect for shooting on the run at events. I have been looking for a bag like this for years. FANATASTIC! And, Amazon was 2 weeks quicker than photo sites I use!! GO KATA, GO AMAZON!
