An Essential Part of a Hepburn Collection,

Anyone who is seriously interested in the life and career of Katharine Hepburn should try to obtain a copy of this excellent program, hosted and narrated by the actress. The documentary includes not only numerous clips from many of her movies, but also rarely-seen home movie footage of her and her family, as well as film taken, on set, during production of some of her best loved work. As usual, the subject is opinionated and insightful, frank about her shortcomings and her personal life. She comes across as, if not humble, certainly very human and not arrogant at all. This program was produced fairly late in her life, and is one of my favorite Hollywood documentaries.
