I have always lived in Illinois, born and raised in Chicago's south suburbs, but I've also lived in other suburban areas. My career in Information Technology has encompassed jobs in both Chicago's Loop and outlying areas. I now live in the near northwest suburbs with my husband and two cats.
While I have always loved to write and long dreamed of being a published author, I only got serious about it around 2001. "The Dreamer Gambit" was my first success in early 2011, followed by "Two Faces Two Faced" nine months later. Both books now have sequels, "The Changeling Kill" and "Game Faces" respectively. My fifth novel, "Dabblers," was released as an ebook on November 1, 2012, and the third in the "Faces" series -- "Stranger Faces" -- came out on February 1, 2013. A sequel to "Dabblers" is underway. I have also written short stories, mainly science fiction, and received two honorable mentions and one semi-finalist standing in the Writers of the Future contest.
