REALLY?! In Triplicate??

The very first thing that I noticed when I opened up Kathryn's Country Cooking (1) was that there was no Table of Contents of any kind at all. As I began to read through the recipes I started to understand why. So, I highlighted all the recipe titles, and opened up another of Kathryn's books on my Cloud Reader. Let me give you a Table of Contents for Kathryn's Country Cooking (1)

Meat Loaf - identical to the recipe that appears in The South Cook's Again! and "The South Cooks Again!" ("The South Cooks Again"). Also by Kathryn Midgett, those two books are identical other than the titles.

Apple or Cherry Delight - identical to the recipe from "The South Cook's Again!"

Broccoli Annie

Chicken and Pea Casserole - identical to the recipe from "The South Cook's Again!"

Cheese Grit (sic) casserole - identical to the recipe from "The South Cook's Again!"

Chocolate Cake Balls - identical to the recipe from "The South Cook's Again!"

Sweet Potato Casserole - identical to the recipe from "The South Cook's Again!"

Great cook book even for people who don't cook!

Kathryn's Country Cooking is the first cook book I've ever purchased. I'm one of those cooks who can't boil water, but this cook book stands out making it so easy to have affordable home cooking that most restaurant chains charge an arm and a leg for. Too many recipes to comment all on but my favorite is the Chicken and Broccoli my family loves it and can't get enough. Thank you Kathyrn for getting the fast food out of my house and home cooking like mom's back in!!

excellent recipes

I love the salsa recipe. It is so fresh and flavor full, it is more like a chutney, then salsa. Big bursts of flavor in every bite. The strawberry pie is awesome too.
