I have been waiting for Kathy's next cd her music seems to come from the heart and from personal experience. This cd is the same. As she sings these personal songs of relationship to God it speaks to your heart. I especially relate to the song "You're Still God".

Kathy Troccoli is one of those artists that ALWAYS delivers her best, and Heart Of Me is no exception! Kathy is heart felt and honest and delivers this album in a very simple, straight-forward way. The stand-outs are the wonderful ballads, "He Will Shelter You" and "All For The Life Of Me", and the up tempo modern pop tune "Take Me Higher". Kathy's voice is superb, and you can feel that she is singing from the heart. I orginally started listening to Kathy because of how much I love her voice. I now listen to Kathy not only because of her voice, but because of the message. The only problem with this CD is that there are ONLY 10 songs, because it leaves you wanting more. However, I have bought many CDs by other artists only to find 5 or 6 stand-out songs out of 13 or 15. With Kathy you get the best, and as with her last album, although the CD only has 10 songs, they are the best and you will not find yourself fast forwarding past any of them along the way.

Ok, its not like "Love Has A Name". After listening to this recording, I thought that it was done in a typical Kathy Troccoli way. One might compare it too "Sounds of Heaven".
Anyway, I have been a long follower of her music and feel that this recording done by her only adds to the growth of God's love in her life! Give the recording a try and see if you like it before you turn away from her or not. She has the love of God on her and you can tell it!!!

Kathy Troccoli has been one of my favorite artists for some time now, and this album of hers has certainly done nothing to change that. This album awesome. Once again, there are no "filler" songs on this album - all of them are good. This is not a CD that has a couple of singles on it to draw attention to the album and then just fill it up with mediocre music - they are all excellent songs. Moreover, they provide a variety of different music types, so all of the songs have their own unique sound and don't run together. Excellent purchase on my part, and I highly recommend this album.

Contrary to the opinion of 'a music fan' who wrote a review on her album 'Love Has A Name' and forecast her downfall for having joined Reunion Records, Kathy has come up trumps with this second CD since joining them.

Every song on this CD reflects KT's love for her Saviour. 'All for the Life of Me' is a truly humble worshipful song and can only bless the listener. From the first song 'Take me Higher' to the last song 'You'r still God' all are beautifully sung. The accompanying orchestra and backing vocals are also superb.

If I had to comment on one thing that I was disappointed in it would be the fact that Kathy only co-wrote some of the songs and I have always bought her CD's specifically because, what she sings so superbly, are words that come from her heart and this makes it more meaningful to me. Nevertheless, this is a great CD and one not to be missed by fans of KT or those looking for a great Christian CD to uplift their spirits and aid in their worship of our awesome Heavenly Father.
