Just beautiful songs,

I did not know Kathy Troccoli was a "Christian" singer when I bought this album. In fact, I had never heard of her. I bought it because I heard "If I'm Not In Love" on the radio and was swept away. It remains one of my favorite songs of any artist. What a lovely, clear, powerful voice! I became so mesmerized, it was easy to feel she was right there singing to me. Although I bought it for this one song, the whole CD has grown on me. Only looking back, did I realize some of the songs are "Christian". To me, they are songs of love, feelings, and emotion. You don't need to be Christian to enjoy this, nor do you have to be a guy. I strongly sense that Ms. Troccoli should do more albums such as this, even if they are not traditional Troccoli. Who knows, maybe she will win over some new hearts.

The very best CD; the songs capture many moods,

Seldom do you purchase a CD and genuinely like all of the songs! The songs cover a wide spectrum of emotions: cross-over pop-"If I'm Not In Love", to Christian favorite- "Tell Me Where It Hurts", to remakes- "Never My Love", and of course, who wouldn't be moved by "My Life Is In Your Hands". Truly a wonderful collection by a voice so amazing, you'll never forget it.

One of my all time favorites,

Kathy began her cross-over journey to the pop/ac market with "Pure Attraction," the album that proceeded this one, which featured the hit single "Everything Changes." At the time, I knew her from that song, and only that song, so I didn't have much to judge this album on when I received it. It has become one of my all-time favorites. Nearly every track is amazing, and most of the album serves as a showcase for Kathy's soaring vocals. It is fitting, and somewhat ironic that her last big push in the secular market ended with one of her best christian songs "My Life is in Your Hands." Simply beautiful. This one's a keeper.

A loving album!,

One of Christian Contemporary Music's most popular artist in the 1980s, Kathy Troccoli released this self-titled secular album in 1994. But her CCM fans have nothing to worry about. None of the songs on this album contradict any Biblical beliefs.Instead, Kathy created an album of songs about love and friendship. This album is easy listening at its best, with Kathy's silky voice clearly marking each and every song. A great album to add to your collection.

Kathi Triccoli is a performer who has captured the rythm of the 80's and 90's, with a voice thats loud, clear and strong. You will look a long time, before you find another collaboration equal to Kathi's self named CD.

This was her major record label debut,

This was alot of firsts in my walk of faith as it was the first Christian concert I went to it was at Northland Community Church in Longwood, FL. It was also one of the first Christian albums I would buy. The words were good, and the message was conveyed rather well, but it was definitely overproduced, and synthesized. The concert was just o.k. she can sing there's no denying that, but she used accompaniment tapes instead of a live band at the concert. She did some of the standards here such as: "Tell Me Where It Hurts", and "My Life Is In Your Hands", "Mission Of Love", and "I'll Be There For You". This was probably the way Amy Grant wished "House Of Love" would've sounded like.

Kathy WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO...,

Being a Kathy Troccili fan, I still found it very difficult to get into this album. It is oversythesized and I am not sure what she is trying to accoplish. I guess it is good for the collector or die hard fan but for those of us who like her christian albums or the present this cd is very disappointing.
