I stumbled onto Katie Melua a few weeks ago while looking for something else and am so glad I did. Her voice is like a songbird and I enjoy her song writing too. She reminds me somewhat of the late Eva Cassidy and her duets with her are stunning. Why she isn't better known in the U.S. baffles me then it dawned on me..she can actually sing.

This CD/DVD set is a great introduction to her work, kind of a greatest hits or best of so far. I think the DVD that comes with this set is a European version but it plays fine in my DVD player and laptop. I hope she comes to the U.S. soon it will be a must see concert for me!

Living in the USA I was unable to attend this tour. However I pre-ordered The Collection when it was about to come out. Gosh I am glad I did. The CD is good but the DVD WOW. This is not only one my favorite Katie realted items I own but it is probably my favorite concert DVD. What a concert. It shows Katie at her best. So many great songs on the DVD it is great to see these songs performed live. I can only imagine what is was like being there. Also outstanding video and audio quality. The "Behind the Screens" bonus is also quite enjoyable to watch. I hope Katie and Co. keep making outstanding items like this in the future. No problems at all playing it on my computer.

I bought this for a friend of mine in California and she was so disappointed she could not play it.

Amazon confirmed: "Please note that Region 2 DVD will play only in United kingdom and it will not play in United States. Only Region 1 DVDs will play in United States. I apologise that this was not made clear in our website."

Just check before you buy.

Other than that, just a fabulous collection. Katie at her best.

Respeto todos los comentarios que se han hecho sobre este Cd pero en lo particular me pareció un magnifico material de Katie Melua, el DVD esta maravilloso aunque solo lo puedo ver en la computadora pero vale la pena. Soy de la ciudad de México, quiero recomedarselos ampliamente.

I just knew about Katie Melua, about one month ago, while I was watching TV, then I looked for her in You Tube, and I knew she just made a new fan: Me.
She's a real and complete artist: She is a "down to the world" person, I recomend to read or watch some of her interviews, she writes beautiful songs, she has a great voice, she connects really well with the audience and she's gorgeus! She's a real positive influence. I hope to see her in Mexico some time.

This is a great cd; her work is comparable to Nora Jones, one of my favorite artists. The dvd bonus is very entertaining as well. Definitely a keeper!

I live in the United States and the bonus DVD that comes with the CD will NOT play in my DVD player. Just wanted to let people know. The CD is still worth buying. Highlights include "The Closest Thing To Crazy", "If I were A Sailboat" and "Mary Pickford". Katie is a rare talent and so beautiful, and it boggles my mind that she is not a worldwide superstar.

I love Katie Melua, and this is a great CD. But the DVD would not play in my DVD player, or in either of my computers. Apparently it is a European type, which isn't made clear in the description (at least not for us non-electronic types). I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known, and there is no way to get my money back now that I have.

LOVE THIS ALBUM IT HAS ALL HER BEST SONGS,AND THE DVD SHOWING HER CONCERT WAS A GREAT EXTRA.
ITS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE.
