I purchased this cd quite a while ago after buying his debut cd. I was completely overwelmed by his singing and writing style. I will admit that this one was much better than the first. (Hard to say that about most sophomore attempts). The string sessions one "WILL YOU WAIT FOR ME" were incredible. Also adding the Enhanced portion was even better. I enjoyed listening to the dance mix version, as well as the interview he gave. It gave a great insight to what he is planning in the future, as well as what he is all about. I would like to see more Kavana fans in the US. Why should the UK have all the fun!

This is the debut cd from the uk's kavana he is fantastic regardless of his looks he has talent his voice is smooth and soulful. crazy chance is perfect just put it on and turn it up! the next song is a cover of Shalamar "I can make you feel good" which he does quite well, but it's pretty true to the original.

Next great tune would be MFEO (cutfather&Joe 7") excellent this was done by those guys that did the "return of the mack" for Mark Morrison, so if you like that song you will like MFEO. Work is the final track which is different from the single there are more male vocals on the album version, but it's still great. Kavana wrote 90% of the tunes here so if you like kavana you won't be disappointed.

Kavana is one of those artists who just makes me shake my head. Not because of a lack of talent, but because of an abundance of it! I shake my head because his albums were never made available in the U.S. If they had been, not only would he have been phenomenally successful, but he also would have been worthy of that success. He has one of the smoothest and most soulful voices I've ever heard. And, of course, having a cute face doesn't hurt him either!

The first song I ever heard of Kavana's was "Crazy Chance", which leads off this disc. Rumor has it that he wasn't proud of this song, but I can't imagine why -- it's perhaps the best showcase for his wonderful voice! Other standouts include "MFEO" (which stands for "Made For Each Other"), "For The Very First Time", and "Work". His style is definitely pop, but with a distinctly funky/jazzy flavor, sometimes taking on a '70s or early '80s feel. I can't help but wonder what he'd sound like singing some old '40s standards with a more straightforward jazz or "big band" sound backing him.

Another rumor has it that Kavana is engineering a comeback; perhaps this time he'll try breaking into the U.S. music scene. If he were marketed correctly, he could really make some waves.
