I bought this sander to replace a completely worn out Porter-Cable Speedbloc Sander. While it does the job, I'm not real pleased with this unit. Although it is light and has a dust collection bag (a very nice feature), it also feels bulky and just doesn't have the same power as the Porter-Cable unit. As stated in another review, paper loading is also somewhat of a pain.

The sander has worked well for me for over two years. The bag cuts down on dust considerably, but not completely. It is comfortable to hold and work with for long periods. I used it to prep walls for painting and it performed well. The only thing I don't like is the rather difficult paper loading. Still, for the price...
