The Kawasaki 841270 Green 6 Amp 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder was a perfect grinder at a really budgeted price. This is my first grinder ever. I bought this for creating artwork out of soapstone & pewter. The grind wheels change out fairly easy with key and chuck button. Though the chuck button is stiff and takes direct effort in holding the unit, pressing, and using the key in the other hand. All in all the ease of use is great and it is not heavy or clumsy.
One draw back is that it has only one speed and the on button does not slide and lock into place very well, it can easily slide back so you have to concentrate and press the on button into place ensuring it will stay on.

Overall nice piece of equipment at a low price. Kawasaki seems to have branced out well into the powertool market, but honestly if I needed a grinder for construction projects, I would most likely have gone that route of Dewalt or Makita.

I purchaced one at a TSC. The handle becomes hot at a very low workload, and after only an hour of cumulative work the motor quit. A spare set of brushes for the motor came in the box, so I put them in and got another five minutes out of it. So now I'm looking for another brand. My father, who owns a farm, uses a chicago electric brand, which he neither praises or be-littles and has another brand that I'm trying to remember the name of, Illinois ____ ____ , a china made grinder, (like most others), but has lasted years (about 3 or 4 so far) and can handle a workload well. And so I'll try that brand next and see how it goes.

It's a cheap grinder. (period)
I always buy cheap angle grinders because a $20 angle grinder lasts me about 10 years for my occasional use. I bought this one to strip an aluminum boat of paint and body filler and to grind out the old solid rivets. The grinder worked perfectly well.
However, the on/off switch is odd and kind of cumbersome. You have to push it up and hold it unless you "lock" it in the "on" position. Not a huge deal for someone with power tool experience.
The next thing that I didn't appreciate about the grinder was the wheel lock button on the top of the grinder. It is the black triangle on the photo. Normally these buttons are easy to push and hold with one finger while I remove the wheel with the other hand. This one is not easy to use at all. It's a real pain to push that button down far enough to lock the wheel in place.
I used it pretty hard and it did performed well. I got what I paid for.
