This is a very unsuitable diet for rabbits. First of all, about half of it is seeds. Rabbits are not natural seed-eaters and seeds are very unhealthy for them, they can be a choking hazard and also cause digestive issues. The food is also filled with sugary fruit and pellets. Kaytee also uses artificial preservatives in their food that have proven to be very dangerous for animals. If you're feeding this to your bunny, I highly suggest switching them onto a healthy pellet food such as Oxbow. It's a few dollars more expensive but well worth it if you really care about your bunny. Mine was being fed this at his previous home and I'm currently switching him off of it and onto Oxbow.

I feed the wild rabbits in my backyard with this food and have found that it also attracts doves and robins....not to mention the squirrels that get in on the action. Lots of variety in this food, better than just the standard pellets

This is absolutely terrible food for rabbits. Rabbits tend to love it, but it contains numerous ingredients that are questionable, and some that are very, very harmful in the long run. My vet urged me to stop feeding this to my rabbit and to change to a quality rabbit food.

As others have noted, rabbits do not naturally eat seeds and seeds are not considered healthy in quantity (nor are nuts). This food contains a lot of seeds, and it also contains nuts. The high sugar content from the dried fruit, the usage of corn, and the uses of various ingredients considered to be a choking hazard are also not good for rabbits. The usage of certain preservatives are also very questionable, given it is impossible to say if they are safe (they may affect the system of your average rabbit very differently than the system of your average human!!!)

When I first got into rabbits, this was the food a pet store recommended to me. Shortly after my rabbit had her first vet visit, my vet informed me that this is one of the worst foods short of the generic stuff sold at the Walmart, and strongly urged me to switch to a good quality food. My rabbit is now fed exclusively Oxbow, which is widely considered to be the best. Since switching to Oxbow, the improvements in health and vitality are very visible.

Unfortunately, despite the Fiesta brand offering some very popular foods and treats, you will probably notice that the huge majority of their products contain ingredients that are not considered safe for rabbits. This food is no exception and that it is why it is another Fiesta product that I feel rabbit owners should avoid.

My rabbits LOVE this food. I've had many rabbits throughout my life and they have always preferred Fiesta over anything else. I currently have a big 15 lb male New Zealand/Flemish Giant cross and his much smaller (5 lb) Dutch/Lionhead girlfriend. They are very active and have a whole deck to themselves with plenty of space to run, hop, skip, jump and play. They play for hours every day and it's so funny to watch. People think rabbits are boring because all they do is sit in the cage and sleep... I cannot stress how important exercise and play is for the well being of these cute creatures. The 20 lb bag lasts me about a month and a half even though I give them a hefty serving every day along with veggies, occasional fresh fruit as treats, all the hay they could ever want, and then some.

My owner tried to serve me some generic brand of gourmet rabbit food and I just pushed the bowl away. When he realized I wasn't eating for days, he finally broke down and bought the Kaytee Fiesta Gourmet Rabbit Food from Amazon. He said Amazon has a better price than PetSmart and he doesn't have to pay tax or shipping. Good for him, I guess. This is really tasty food, but I will not eat those little flat looking seeds. I have found they get stuck between my two front teeth and that just plain old looks bad. Unfortunately he keeps the food in a plastic container, otherwise I would tear that bag open and finish it off.

I would recommend this food to a fellow rabbit.

My rabbits love this food! It's usually $16 at Petco for the 6.5 lb bag, but I bought it on sale through Amazon at $12.76, which was perfect! I get this and mix it with the plain vitamin/mineral enriched alfalfa pellets to make sure they're getting enough vitamins and minerals. They absolutely love the Kaytee brand though, so I try to order this ahead of time when I know I'm running low. I would recommend this product to anyone with rabbits, but since a lot of this is "treat-like" you should mix it with the regular pellets.

I've used Kaytee
Fiesta for all my rabbits since 2001. They love the little tasty nuggets of carrots & other healthy treats combined with the alfalfa pellets and timothy hay. Everyday at feeding time, you will find my little lop-earred cuties waiting & ready to munch down on their favorite rabbit delicatessen.

I have a jersey wooly and he loves this stuff. He does go through and pick out all the goodies first but later he comes back and finishes it off. It is also cheaper on Amazon than my local pet store. Happy shopper. :)
