I was excited to receive this DVD, having seen Keane 3 times during the 2007 U.S. tour. The DVD does not disappoint and captures what makes Keane so special - beautifully crafted songs, Tom Chaplin's range, phrasing and gorgeous voice, soaring melodies, rocking beats and a relationship between the band members going back to childhood. I know we will watch this DVD many times over and reminisce about our own experiences seeing Keane live in Berkeley, Boston and Philadelphia. Thanks for making the movie!!!

There are often occasions where seeing a live performance of a band you like is disappointing. This concert DVD is just the opposite. Not only does it confirm my belief that Keane are one of the best new artists around, it gave me a new found respect for them. I was a bit worried near the beginning of the performance because it seemed like Tom Chaplin might be getting into a bit of the self indulgent crowd interaction too much but I think after he calmed down the band concentrated on a great performance. And it was great. Chaplin's voice was absolutely solid. The sound quality is perfect. A fine mix despite the fact that it's only 3 guys and often just 2 making the music. The visuals are fantastic. It's really a pleasure to see that Keane has people that understand that lighting and visual effects add so much to a good concert. This DVD is an absolute must for Keane fans and anyone else that appreciates great new music performed by seriously talented individuals.

If you enjoy Keane or perhaps just and enjoy some of their songs and are looking to bolster your blu-ray music collection...buy this! It's a fantastic show that you'll be able to put on/listen to and watch over and over again. It looks awesome and sounds even better...Keane came to play on this day and they do just that. There's very little filler or talking...it's just jamming, singing, and piano playing. Fantastic all around one of the best musical blu-rays to own.

Okay, I'm getting seriously fed up with these idiots giving this DVD a bad review because they can't READ. It clearly says on this page that this is a REGION 2 DVD, and it even says that it won't work in US players. Reviewers here need to focus on the performance of Keane, not on the fact that they are so insipid. Keane is releasing this DVD for the FIRST TIME in North America on July 14th, and it will be a Region 1 DVD when released. So get over it and learn how to shop smarter and READ!

Most concert videos are bad. You are watching them and just feel like an intruder to the show. This concert video makes you feel a part of the show. It starts out with thundering piano by both Tom and Tim and with Richard backing up on the drums. It is incredibale the energy you feel from this video. It makes you just say "wow" in almost every part of the show. I highly recommend it to any Keane fan or any music fan. It is that good.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Keane had a Blu-Ray concert out, and since I have always missed seeing them when I could, I had to get this.

The concert looks great, there are plenty of band close-ups, audience pans and close-ups, wide shots, etc. It's not boring visually. The background screens add mood to every song. The lighting works and lets you see lots of detail.

The sound is clear and balanced. Tom is on key and while he was very energetic throughout, he still hits those beautiful high and low notes. Tim is quite a monkey man on the piano, as usual, and sounds great. There are plenty of shots of Richard and he also sounds great.

The extras are pretty cool: the documentary was interesting; the soundcheck was amusing and Keane shines in simplicity; the projection screens are neat if you care to watch them.

The Keane Live DVD is a must-have for any Keane fan or even a fan of good music. They did an amazing show! The energy of the audience reflects that. The performance was flawless. This was the best Keane show I've ever seen to be quite honest, the boys did great! I suggest this item for purchase to everyone!

The whole thing's fantastic, but the vocals are just tremendous. One of the best voices in the last 50 years shines through. The video is incredible as well - certainly a reference concert for a nice home theater. It won't exercise your sub much, but you need a different genre for that.
