Page 7: “the second generation [of Romantic writers] was born in the last decade of the 1800s … Keats and Shelley belong to the second generation.” But Keats was born in 1795, Shelley in 1792 – that is, in the last decade of the 1700s. Thus this study guide, which students may well rely on at least for the basic facts of its subject, is off here by a hundred years. Unforgivable.
