Vinyl edging, June 30, 2009
I have a very bad contact allergy to a bunch of different materials used in shoe manufacturing, so I was looking for a pair of cloth shoes which wouldn't be irritating. From the photo and the description these looked like they would fit the bill. When I received them, however, they had a strip of vinyl or plastic or something glued to the edge all around the top of the shoe. This edging was not mentioned in the description. The material irritated my allergy, so I had to return them.
