Girls of all ages love looking pretty, dressing up, and getting pampered-but what's a girl to do when the cosmetics on the market are filled with ugly, harmful toxins? Skin is the largest organ on our bodies, so forget the muck-filled-yuck and care for your skin, body, and earth with non-toxic, organic products, and look beautiful doing it. No mom wants to worry about her little one nibbling on her varnished nails.

I'm wearing this Keeki Pure and Simple sugar plum nail polish on my fingernails now. This shade is a dark purple with subtle shimmer to it. There is no toxic smell to this nail polish. This nail polish is non-toxic, water-based, hypoallergenic, gluten-free, toluene, formaldehyde, and phthalate free. I really like Keeki Pure and Simple's logo design - a dachshund balancing a cupcake on its nose. The bird on the nail polish bottle is chirping the message: "Love yourself, love your planet." On the nail polish bottle, it says, "Wait 20 minutes before water contact." I bought several nail polish bottles from Keeki Pure and Simple for my friends and co-workers. I have to wait and see how they feel about this nail polish. For me, I think it's decent nail polish. In order to achieve a dark purple color, you need to apply about three coats. The nail polish kind of runs a little thin, and you can definitely see the nail polish brush strokes for the end product. But it's a water-based, non-toxic nail polish, so it's different than most nail polish brands. Don't expect this nail polish to look and be of the same quality as OPI. I think I'm so used to the quality of OPI nail polishes, that when I use other nail polish brands, it looks different and feels a little strange to me. Anyways, the reason why I'm wearing this purple nail polish is because celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, singer Julie Roberts, Jordin Sparks, Nancy Lieberman, Jane Pauley, etc. are supporting ten years of women's freedom from violence, addiction, etc. for Thistle Farms, an organization/company based in Tennessee.Read more ›
