I was a bit hesitant to purchase these shoes based on some of reviews I read about the soles separating.

Thus far, they have been holding up for me.

I use them for sailing and windsurfing in San Francisco Bay, and they are working out very well.

The Cimarron Water Shoe is a very comfortable shoe, however shortly after receiving them and having exposed them to a little mud they were washed in a conventional washing machine where the stitching around the top area under the ankle became unraveled. Unfortunately, like so many products sold in our country today, this shoe is manufactured in Communist China. The poor quality of stitching was due to the manufacturing process and not the design itself. I returned the shoes for another selection.

Perfect water shoes. Very light, fit perfect, ventilated. Non-skid soles.
Easy in and out, but won't come off your feet. Also, no blisters!. Exactly what we expected and desired.
