4.0 out of 5 stars Nice shoes
I'm biased to Keens, they're pretty much all I wear.
The Arroyos feel great, have great support, go anywhere, do anything.
I gave 4 stars but considered 3 because without socks your feet get hot. You wouldn't think open shoes would get hot, but they do. I still really like them more than the Newports for the convenience and support of the full heel cup. They...

3.0 out of 5 stars A Bit disappointing
I read in reviews that the laces become undone, and thought, "That happens with any and all shoes!". The laces on my Arroyos did become undone - about every thirty yards. I ordered and will fit the new laces soon and see how that fares. Overall, it is a great "all terrain shoe" -- provided all the terrains are smooth and flat. Stay away from grassy trails and by no...

I still really like them more than the Newports for the convenience and support of the full heel cup. They slip on and off and are more of a shoe, so I can wear them to work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Conforms perfectly to your feet!, June 24, 2010

I went out of my way to write this review because of my extremely positive experience with these shoes. I have never had a pair of shoes of any style, including running shoes, that fit so perfectly and can be worn for such a wide variety of activities. I hike every summer in the Cascade Mountains and have not found a better pair of hiking shoes than these. You can run in them. They look great for casual work places. They are sturdy, yet supple. You pay a premium ($90 to $100) but they last forever. They're water-resistant, too, though I would not say they are "water-proof."

They look great, breath fairly well, have great heel support, and are truly conforming to your foot after a few uses. I also have some Keen Newports for biking (with cleats) and I would have to say they are nowhere near the outstanding feel of the Arroyo IIs. The lack of support in the heel makes you feel like you're always leaning back on your feet. But, to stick with the review of the Arroyo II--you will not regret this purchase, guaranteed.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWSOME!!!!, June 27, 2009
This review is from: Keen Men's Arroyo II Sandal (Apparel)
I bought these shoes because it is the only brand of shoes my husband will wear. I have been suffering from plantar facilitis for several months now, these are the most comfortable shoes, I have ever had. Well worth the money. I bought 2 more pairs online for work.

Stay away from grassy trails and by no means entrust yourself to them when you wade through water. They take a very long time to dry, and act as if they are designed to collect thorny grass seeds.

This product was recommended to us by a friend. We found a better price on Amazon versus the product's web site. The shoes arrived quickly and my husband has been wearing them ever since! He's very happy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for traveling, February 27, 2010
This review is from: Keen Men's Arroyo II Sandal (Apparel)
I bought these before i spent 2 weeks in guatemala. I brouhgt these and my flipflops and i never used the flipflops.
We did quite a bit of walking and light hiking and these worked great the whole time. My feet never felt sore. The only downside is i have to wear sock or my feet get real sweaty. When i wear socks they breathe better and they are great for any hot weather environment. The heels is very supportive and they look cooler than the sandals. We went swimming in a rivver in guatemala they protect your feet real well and float your feet up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Sandals! Incredible Tread!, August 17, 2009

I've only had these for two weeks but I'm thoroughly impressed so far. Very comfortable - easy to slide on and off but the non-stretch laces allow you to tighten them up quickly and sturdily when you need more support.

The tread on these is fantastic - similar to what you seen on a day hiker. I've worn out the treads on my other Keen sandals in less than a year so I'm hoping these last longer - from the looks of them, I think they probably will. The tread on the Keen Newport was one of my biggest complaints - not enough grip, and they didn't last long.

I highly recommend these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Attn :.. Aussie buyers : half size bigger than standard Australian shoes..., December 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I'd be fair with this review . I liked it even it's a half size bigger shoes. Seller is great in postage ( 7 days from US to Sydney )and charged actual postage fee (US$ 36.50) as USPS receipt said on the box. The thing is I should have tried Anaconda store here in Sydney . They have the shoes in stock, displayed in stores but not on their website and the price is only AU$ 6 more than what I paid for including the postage. If I knew this before,I could have tried for the right size in store and be 100% happy about it.And there's one negative thing about the shoes. The heel strap in picture is just for aesthetics purpose only as it can't be adjusted for actual heel fitting. I hope this helps for our Aussie buyers.
