I bought the first pair on sale in a sky blue color, and loved them so much I invested in the red variety at full price...just bought pair number 3 in black, to wear on semi-professional occasions where I'll be on my feet for hours and need to be able to run (I work with the press, so speed is sometimes a priority...I have a pair of black Dansko clogs I occasionally wear for their comfort, but moving faster than a brisk walk is impossible in them). I'm not sure which colors are currently available on Amazon, but I know this model is produced in at least five colors: moss green, brown, black, tomato red and pool blue.

I have narrowish feet, size 8.5 and high arches...and this is literally the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I've walked upwards of eight miles at a time in the blue pair and - here's another plus - they still look great, after a year and a half of fairly constant wear.

These shoes cost more than sneakers, but I can absolutely tell you they are worth every penny. The leather is sturdy and I've dropped a full glass of water on my toes with no splash marks left later.

Seriously, I cannot say enough about this product. My only worry is that Keen will stop making them. If I ever see another pair on sale in my size I will invest in #4.

I own several other pairs of Keen shoes as well (including the Bend, the Portola and the Tuscany)...and while I would rate those maybe an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10, the Presidio goes up to eleven. Higher, really. The fit is most like the Targhee mid, another Keen model of which I own more than one pair (try the purple ones, they're insanely cute.)

One detail: They run about a half size smaller than marked. I wear an 8.5 in most brands of shoe, but I need a full size 9 in the Presidios.

I love these Keen shoes. I already owned a brown pair of these shoes. I prefer wearing this shoe over my tenny-shoes. They are comfortable and have great arch support and I wear them for walking.

I love the look the feel and the high arch support. They are great for walking distances on hard or soft surfaces. I wear them everyday to work since I bought them and now I am going to buy the brown ones for my brown and tan slacks.

These shoes are definitely worth the extra money I spent to get them. They are very comfortable and look nice. They are a nice combination between a sneaker and an oxford type shoe. They are very comfortable and that is the selling point for me. I definitely recommend them. I wish they were all black instead of having the gray strip on the bottom. But the most comfortable shoes i have ever owned.

I have problems fitting shoes because my heel is narrow and my toe area is wider. The Keens are perfect for that. I chose the Presidio because of it's classic styling. The instant I put the shoe on, I knew I was going to be buying it. It was immediately comfortable and required no breaking in period. The footbed is very supportive with the best arch support I've worn.

I agree with the other review that says these fit about a half size smaller than normal. So if you're ordering on-line, be aware of that.

I also own a pair of Arroyos, that I have just bought and haven't yet put to a real test, but they too are very comfortable.

These will be, I'm positive, only the start of my collection of Keen-wear because I now have no inkling to purchase any other brand!

Feb 2009 update: I now own 5 pair of Keens. Not because they wear out so quickly, but I have a couple of styles and a couple of different colours.

This is the second pair of Keen Presidio shoes that I've purchased. I enjoyed the first pair so much, I had to get a second pair. This is the first style of shoe I've owned that gives my toes plenty of room, yet provides comfortable support for the rest of my foot. I wear Keens everyday.

I absolutely love this shoe. When ordering, I would recommend ordering a half size larger than normal, as it tends to run small. I have a very high arch, and have difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable, but this one fits the bill.

These shoes are great. The weekend after i got them I went up to Tahoe and wore them in the snow all weekend. they were warm and waterproof and super comfy. They are hip, professional, and comfortable and I love them! These are my first pair of keens and i'm hooked.

I love the Keen Presidio shoe! Now I have three colors. My feet never hurt now - I was having trouble with pinched nerves.

I love the color of the shoes, they look great with jeans and fit great!
