5.0 out of 5 stars my shameful little secret
I love this tape, very reminiscent of those ninth grade urgings expressed beautifully on the second side of the tape (or second half of the cd) which is all ballads, including "Now I'm Goin For Mine," and of course, There You Go Tellin Me No Again (damn, ther I go singing the song and it will now be stuck in my head all week). 3.0 out of 5 stars Just As Good As The First Two
Many music critics and fans felt that with Keep It Comin, that Mr. Sweat didn't leave up to the promise shown on his first two CD'S. In one aspect the up-tempo material wasn't as strong but the ballads including the I Want To Love You Down,There You Go Tellin Me No Again, and Give Me What I Want are all very good. Kep it Comin was great, there's a great little corny song with LL cool J called "Why Me, Baby,' and altogether, its definitely outdated, you don't ehar anything like this anymore, now its Sisqo and all who at least get to the point more forcefully. But this tape is as good, if not better, I think than Make it Last Forever, his classic. And its WAY better than the bleh second tape of his... I dont even remember what it was called, but it had that one song with Gerald Levert and that was it. Anyway, this one's tight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keith Sweat has done it again!, June 14, 1999

Nobody does it better than Keith Sweat! I like the opening song, "Keep It Comin'," right to the very last one, "Ten Commandments of Love." I've had my heart broken so many times that I often play "Why Me, Baby?" with LL Cool J handling the rap vocals with his smooth voice. I'm looking forward to your next album, Keith. Keep 'em comin'!

5.0 out of 5 stars A touch like that of no other; Key to my heart & soul., October 29, 2000

Pamela Diane Thompson (North Little Rock, Arkansas (USA)) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Keep It Comin (Audio CD)
This CD, "Keep It Coming has it going on. I'm into every song on the CD, especially the ones on the bedroom side. "(There You Go)Tellin Me No Again" and "I'm Going For Mine" really touched home. "Why Me Baby"; A question I'm Still asking. From day one Keith has really done it for me. In 1987 when I first experienced Keith, it was like seeing the reality of true love for the very first time. When I heard him sing "Something Just Ain't Right", I knew right then something just wasn't right with the relationship I was in. "Right And A Wrong Way" definetly made me take steps backwards. And "Why Me Baby" helped me to realize, I deserve better. So Keith, I am a Piscean lover of life and true inner love. And you are a Cancer? Perfect match from what I've read. In a sense, from "Make It Last Forever"(which I think and feel the title song, "I Want Her" is about me) to "Still In The Game"(in which the title songs "I'm Not Ready" and "In Your Eyes" touches your heart and pierces deep into the depths of the soul), Keith has made a major impact on my life. His music and the twang in his voice just makes anything he sang sound too good. If he sang "Mary Had A Little Lamb", I would be moved. Some people can sing and imitate others, but no one can sang like my baby, Keith Sweat. Keith is more than the naked eye can see and much, much more than the average mind can even begin to conceive and understand. Keith touch is like that of pure gold. If he is involved, you know it's a winner. Looking forward to your upcoming CD, "Didn't See Me Coming". Keep going for what you know love, cause you are number one and only in my heart & soul.

Luv You Baby/ Always & Forever, Pamela T.(Sweat)

P.S. "For You My Darling, cause you do possess all the finer inner qualities I look for and admire in a real man." P.S.S. Also I saw a Video of, I believe it was from the title song, "Keep It Coming" where Keith was either on, under or working on a car and then on the beach dressed in fitting jeans and a shirt that displayed his biceps/muscles. I really would love to get my hands on that video as well as other videos plus the two movies(not "New Jack") he co-starred in. If you have info on this please e-mail me at <pdianet5775@yahoo.com>. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Keith Sweat keeps it comin', March 31, 2005
This review is from: Keep It Comin (Audio CD)
Most people say that this is Keith Seat's weakest effort (not including the material he released after "Still In The Game" in 1998). Maybe it's the memories I combine with these songs, but I just love all of them (and believe it or not, also the fast songs are great). My favorites are "Going For Mine(s)", "Love you Down" and of course "There You Go". This CD is great! Go buy it!

KEITH SWEAT (Top 7 CDs in order):
1. Make It Last Forever (87)
2. Keith Sweat (96)
3. I'll Give All My Love to You (90)
4. Keep It Comin' (91)
5. Still in the Game (98)
6. Get Up on It (94)
7. Levert Sweat Gill (97)

5.0 out of 5 stars Like R&B? You'll like this., December 31, 1999
By
"rayfm" (London United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Keep It Comin (Audio CD)
As a collector of R&B music ranging from 'Computer Love' by Zapp and Roger to 'T-Shirt & Panties' by Adina Howard, I can put my hand on my heart and say that this album is one of the best I own - it is consistent from track 1 through to 11, combining the uptempo swing tunes like 'Let Me Love You' with the smooth slow cuts like '(There You Go) Tellin' Me No Again'. The production of this album is very professional - Keith Sweat knows his sound, and careful listening reveals his cross-over with his first album's co-producer Teddy Riley. If you're new to Keith Sweat, this album is without a doubt the one to start with, and then probably onto the first album 'Make It Last Forever'. Buy this and you won't be disappointed.
