Everything was falling into place. Paul had to do one last trip out to sea before he would be officially released from the Royal Navy. HMS Tireless set sail on February 20th, 2007. Four weeks later, while Julie was, ironically, vacationing in Walt Disney World, she learned the devastating news. Paul, her lifelong friend and greatest love, was killed in an explosion leaving both families engulfed in grief. Keep Right On is about the love and friendship between Paul and Julie. It is funny, it is sexual, and it is raw human emotion at its very core. Julie’s most candid thoughts and intimate feelings are revealed with regards to Paul, his tragic death, and how she is now forced to live her life without him.
