Most books on Bonsai give you the basics of every aspect of raising your Bonsai. This book goes into much more detail on watering and preventative maintenance. Did you know that watering is a 3 step process?

This book was fantastic. It gave me the tips I needed to get started in this hobby with regard to watering, tree placement, general growing tips. Definitely the best of the many books I've read with regards to care tips.

This is a very useful book that gives you wonderful guidelines as to when it is time to repot, shape, water, fertilize, etc... It also gives you an idea of what a lot of different species of trees need and prefer. Wonderful book. I am very glad that I bought it.

Keeping Your Bonsai Alive and Well, is a great book for both beginners and intermediate hobbyists alike. Not only does it cover the basics of feeding, watering, and repotting but it serves as a guide to plant diseases and harmful insects. The part I enjoyed the most was the season by season guide for year round care. It assisted me in knowing what my bonsai needed every season.

I initially checked this book out at my local library and decided I needed a copy to add to my reference library. It would be a good choice for a person ready to take the next step in bonsai care.

This book contains details often not included in many books on growing bonsai and bonsai care. It is thorough in its approach with specific instructions that help make growing and maintaining a bonsai plant. It contains the details I wish more books on bonsai contained. I have found many books on bonsai that leave you guessing as to the specific methods to get positive results with too many broad generalities. This book is the opposite of that approach. A rare find at a good price through Amazon.
