5.0 out of 5 stars Great taste of RBF! The ECD feature is awesome!
This is well worth the $ ( and it has two songs from "Everything Sucks" (I'm Cool, Why Do All Girls Think They're Fat?) <and it's gonna be re-released in 2 weeks! ) and one previously unreleased track (Unity, a cover of Op-Ivy) it has 2 repeats from Turn the Radio Off, mainly to promote those songs... they easily could have filled it with more songs from...

3.0 out of 5 stars Shoulda been longer
As you may have noticed, this cd dosnt have many songs. Being the second record they have released on this label (or any MAJOR label) they did ok. i mean this cd really isnt as good as the first. if you dont have the first dont worry because this is a good first cd to buy by them. it gives you a little sample of what they are like. if you love the fish and have...

You can pick either a guitar, sax or trumpet (I think that's it, anyways) and literally jam with the fish! It's awesome! Break into your own solos! The enhanced CD feature alone is good reason to buy this CD... it's more than worth the $8 for it! Also check out Goldfinger and The Hippos! They are kewl ska bands!

5.0 out of 5 stars Who could resist, October 6, 1999
By A Customer

a song that goes "How come all girls think they're fat?" I would've given this CD less stars cuz theres only four songs, two of which you can get on other CD's, but that song makes the whole thing worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice "have a taste" album, July 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Keep Your Receipt (Audio CD)
If you are a fan of the fish, you should without a doubt get this album! It has a couple tracks that you won't find on "Turn the Radio Off" or "Why Do They Rock So Hard?", plus three music videos! If you haven't yet heard anything by the fishies, you should probably go for a different album with more tracks. This particular album just gives you a small taste of what the Reel Big Fish are all about!

This is a great Cd. It has everything... Good songs, good videos, a good game.... It's all there. The songs: Alternative, Baby: This is a nice tune about modern love and getting kicked in the head. Why Do All Girls Think They're Fat: Finally voicing an age-old question, this a pretty catchy song with the "Hey! Hey! Hey!"s. I'm Cool: A song which worms it's way onto every RBF album, this is the best version of it. S.R.: Great song. It's funny and catchy. Unity: Hey, what's wrong with another unity song? I Want Your Girlfriend To Be My Girlfriend Too: In case you were awareness-imparied, this is a hidden song. After Unity, let your player keep going and you'll hear it. It's a great song, I wish they included all of it. Everything Sucks: This is one of the videos. This song is my all-time favorite. Sell Out: Another video, this song is really upbeat and catchy, plus, the video is really cool. Trendy: A great song, but I wish they'd had the She Has A Girlfriend Now or The Set-Up video instead. 241: The best instrumental song they've ever done, this the game you can play. It's kinda fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars It doesn't get better than this!, August 18, 1999
This review is from: Keep Your Receipt (Audio CD)
Reel Big Fish is far and above any other band out there and any of their albums are well worth the time. So what if there are a few repeats - they're worth a second look - plus you get a few music videos which make this a must buy for any ska fan(I haven't even mention the new songs). BUY IT NOW!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Definite Stray from the Fish, July 18, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Keep Your Receipt (Audio CD)
This album is a short collection of songs that were thrown together but somehow work. The song Unity by Operation Ivy is shows its creators influence with a fish twist. I am a die-hard fish fan and you should be one too to buy this album. Also, three of the songs are found on Turn the Radio Off but this CD is still worth buying. P.S. It comes in an Enhanced CD format so you can put in in your computer and find a mini-game with the song 241 and tons of stuff about Reel Big Fish you never even though about. A definite plus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't judge a CD by its cover., December 21, 1999

At first, I was a bit weary about buying this CD. It was the first ska album I had purchased. This is a great CD for those ska rookies. This CD drew me into ska forever, and I hope it does the same for you. Every song on Receipt is a great example of RBF's solid songwriting. I recommend Receipt even if you are only remotely interested in ska.
