I bought this and returned it because I unexpectedly found an all stainless steel version at the Blue home improvement store for the same price. This device can't compare because the plastic outer rim will break if you put too much tension on the ring. That's not going to happen to the stainless steel ones I bought.

two worked fine...easy to pull up and push down...two did not...I had to pry them up every time I wanted to use them.

Item seemed to be very well made. While reading the packaging, I discovered that this item is not designed to be used on vehicles with over the rail bedliners. Nothing I read, previous to ordering, alerted me to this problem. Consequently, I had to return the 3 packages I had received.

Well-made, well-engineered. Installed very easily (once I cut out the plastic covering my stake-pockets) and work just like they're supposed to. I have an '04 F150 Supercrew with the short bed, and there are no "knockouts" on the bedrail covers to easily remove. You have to carefully measure and guess where the pockets are, drill some tiny test holes, and then enlarge them until the pockets are exposed (there are some images with dimensions on some of the F150 forums, if you google it).

I just cut out the minimum plastic to expose the pockets themselves. Then I installed these Anchor Points OVER the bedrail cover. When properly tightened, they do squish the cover down slightly around the Bullrings, but it's hardly noticeable. And a lot cleaner looking than trying to cut out a perfect rectangle to fit these Bullrings into!

By the way, the tiny "Christian fish" logo is actually UNDER the hoop! It's so hard to see, I can't believe some reviewers actually picked on this. Guess there's a critic for everything.

The product add shows stainless steel in the middle of the anchor and plastic around the outside. Mine arrived with plastic in the middle with a stainless steel plate around the opening where the ring protrudes, which looks nice but probably does little for strength. Still seems nice a nice product, but I haven't actually installed it yet since.

From the picture and description it's hard to tell but the plate measures 2 7/32 by 3 13/32 (just under 2 1/4 by 3 1/2. I just had some Bushwacker bed rail caps installed, but the holes in the caps were bigger than necessary and not perfectly centered, so now the bull rings will sit partially on the rail cap and partially on the rail itself. Looks bad and will probably lead to premature breakage of the bull ring. I ordered a small sheet of ABS in the mail which I'll use to cut out support plates for each bullring, but I with they'd make the plates a little wider to begin with. Another 1/4 in both directions would have helped a lot.

The tie downs for the truck work great. They slip out of the way when not needed and pop up when I need them. They were very easy to install and look great too.
