3.0 out of 5 stars A good thriller, January 7, 2008

I grew an appreciation for Greg Rucka's writing from his work in Gotham Central, Checkmate, Batman and Wonder Woman. He also did a good job of writing a story for Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow. And I've heard nothing but praise for his work in Queen and Country. So I thought I should pick up this surprisingly hard to find two-pack as my next book.
Keeper is fairly straight forward and unfortunately not very gripping. I'd give it 2 stars. Finder I give 4, since Rucka really gets his footing with the action, suspense and characters. Now that his character is established, I think the Atticus Kodiak books will only get better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series, January 21, 2006
This review is from: Keeper/Finder (Atticus Kodiak Novels) (Paperback)
No, I don't actually own this book. I do own the whole Atticus Kodiak series, the paperbacks. I love them. What I like about Atticus is that he's not an infallible superhero, but just a good bodyguard trying to do his best. And sometimes things don't work out exactly the way he wants. It's all in the game.

What I don't like is that I haven't seen a new Atticus Kodiak novel for a while. When a new one does arrive, given time, I like to reread the previous books in the series, so i'm totally into it again. Yeah, I really like them...
