First off the board shipped via ABF. I tracked it through Amazon.com and when it arrived at the ABF terminal I contacted the local ABF hub to coordinate the delivery. You must do this because most trucking companies don't ship to residential areas and may not be able to deliver this in your neighborhood due to the size of the truck. On to the board...

The board is made of a super compact foam (EPS). This is good because you get a board for half the cost of a regular one but the EPS is more fragile on the surface than a board made from other materials such as fiberglass or wood. Just keep in mind you need to be a little more gentle when transporting or moving the board. It can get scratched or damaged by being scrapped on pavement or rocks. The listing on Amazon states the board is "Tri-fin" but it is only one single large fin. The kit includes a paddle (adjusts to different heights), leash, generic roof rack for transporting. The roof rack was cheap and simple in design. Basically it's a strap with a big piece of padding to help hold the board. The straps go through the passenger and driver side doors and connect together. There is another strap that then holds the board down on the roof. The roof rack didn't seem very dependable as the board still moved quite a bit when transporting the board.

The board did excellent in the water. I was able to maneuver around the water, there was a slight chop, with ease and stay stable. I was able to adjust the paddle to provide maximum thrust while I glided through the water. When I first jumped on I noticed the deck to be a little slippery than I would have liked. I never slipped off the board due to this but it was noticeable.

I have had this board for about 4 months, I take very good care of it, I try to go out on the lake 2-3 times a week, it's a good work out. I took it out recently & it has a big bubble on the top of the board in the front, was very upset, I looked at the warranty, it's only covered for 30 days, it should be a year if they truly stand behind the product, NOT HAPPY AT ALL, LIKE I SAID KEEP LOOKING, DON'T BUY THIS BOARD

This is a great value for the price. You get a 27lb (carry weight, evenly balanced), high density foam board with three wood stringers (for stiffness/durability), 10 feet, 6 inches long (plenty of room). You also get a fully adjustable aluminum paddle with a blade that has a rubber edging to protect the board from scratches and dents. If you drop the paddle, don't worry, it floats!

You get the cool surf leash to keep you near your board just in case you slip off AND you get a set of roof racks (foam w/nylon cover) that you use to carry the board on the roof of your car/suv to the lake or ocean. This is a great package. Paddles alone can cost $125 to $300.00 Boards start at $350 (used and abused) to $2,0000 (high end fiberglass). Surf Leashes cost you $19.99 to $39.99 and a roof rack at a Sporting Goods store start at $30.

This is the perfect board for a beginner to intermediate paddler. Great bouyancy, up to 300 lbs or so. It also performs very well in white water rapids (wear a helmet) and doesnt' bog down. The bottom rails could be rounder, but you'll hardly notice unless you're an expert paddler.

Hi!
My name is Amelia, and I'm 13. I've wanted a paddle board for some time, and my parents finally agreed to get me one. I decided on the Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddleboard.
The board itself is really beautiful and big, yet light-- I can lift it, it's only 27 pounds. However, if it's windy, you may want some help. The image on the front isn't photoshopped-- it really looks like that! The only thing it doesn't show is a black divot in the center of the board,, so you can hold it. Don't worry-- it doesn't affect it at all. ;) Also, the board is not a try-fin. Just a single fin that you assemble. It's a little confusing.
I had to order the board twice... The first time, the box was badly ripped and the front of the board had folded in on itself. But, when I reordered, the board arrived in perfect condition. It has a lovely adjustable paddle, nice roof racks, the board, and a SUP leash, and a manual. Everything is very easy to figure out.
The board can hold a crazy amount of weight-- four kids on it at once! The board will get dinged up, but that's what it's meant for. It's a perfect board for families, or soloists looking for a really good board. The paddle has a guard on it so it can't damage the board. And, it all matches. XD
I'll add some pictures later!
Hope this was helpful!

My family has enjoyed this paddle board but there is one problem, The paddle itself does not float!! Why wouldn't you offer a paddle that floats???? Had a friend use the board and when she fell, the paddle fell to bottom of lake and is gone!
Keeper needs to supply a floatable paddle.

A serious whitewater kayaker, I took to paddle boarding to cross train whenever local rivers were too low to paddle. My wife and I have tried three boards in the past year and this is, by far, the best of the lot. It is light enough for her to tote (the others weren't), performs great in lakes (which she prefers) and once the fin is removed, can run any class whitewater proficiency allows (presently, I can run class 2/3, while I kayak class 4).

The sole problem I have, which is not the fault of the board, is running flat sections of rivers which a fin makes much easier. I am looking into rigging up a rudder to alleviate this problem. Also, when switching from flat to whitewater, a paddle adjustment must be made if one chooses to kneel for playing in rapids too tough for my ability. I may need to carry a separate canoe paddle.

Highly recommended!
