I loved this book and all of Margaret Allan's books. The story caught my attention and held it. I never got bored with the story line.

No better than the first,

The story itself is okay, I guess, but that doesn't make up for the lack of historical accuracy. I don't really have anything to add to the review that hasn't been said about The Mammoth Stone, but I'd like to correct one thing in the synopsis. The book is not set in the Southwest. The last time I checked, the Meadowcroft Rockshelter (the Green Valley of the book, there's a map in the first volume) was south of Pittsburgh. That's only the southwest of Pennsylvania.

I wasn't sure how I would like it when I started reading it - but it was awesome how it all came together and once into the book - cannot put it down! GREAT reading! Highly recommended!
